Heard about this place and was dying to try it out. Called the phone number via the website and via Google about 4 times to try to get a take away and no answer. Drove there and found the place. They were not busy! Placed the order for double meat and two sides for $50. Informed the guy who took my order that the phone wasn’t answered. He said he knows nothing. Then I proceeded to ask whether this is the right number and showed him it but his reply was “I don’t know”. I then asked whether I can get the right number pls and once again was greeted with “I don’t know”. Appalling. For this reason I give one star for the service. An easy “let me find out for you” will be great. The brisket was delish and tender but portion size was underwhelming like other previous reviewers had mentioned. I actually went back and asked them whether they got my order correct and they said that my order is right. The two slices were approximately 300g.

Absolute gem if you're in the Hawkesbury-Nepean area. My Mrs & I have been here countless times over lunch/datenight & it never disappoints. Definitely our favourite BBQ spot & we've tried quite a few around Sydney. Food is tender, juicy & exceptionally seasoned. The menu is quite varied with American style BBQ (the brownie is always a nice treat to finish off such a great feed) & they even have breakfast items for all the early birds. Service is always great with the boys always being up for a yarn & making sure you don't leave hungry. Plenty of free parking as well. Great spot to catch up with mates with their courtyard area having plenty of shade & occasional live music. Family friendly & games in the courtyard to keep the kids entertained. Thanks to the team at Brisket Boys. Good, honest, hard working blokes. Definitely a loyal customer & will be coming back 👍 Thanks fellas!

I was really let down with this meal. My wife and I thought we’d share a $50 plate, we ordered brisket/hot link with a side of mac n cheese and coleslaw. Was shocked at how small the serving actually was. The brisket was dry, lacked flavour and more fat than beef. The hot link was really underwhelming. Soggy, under seasoned, didn’t really have any punch at all. No point mentioning the sides as they’re hard to really screw up. We were hoping to share this plate between 2, but in reality only just enough for 1; for $50 this was so damn underwhelming. Having lived in the US for several years, I’ve had more than my share of bbq and I can confidently say that my experience was not a good one. For one thing bbq is supposed to be affordable….

Had been a few months since I've been here, as the value for money was never there except for their sandwiches. (When you're paying more per 100g of meat than you do in actual bbq places in Texas... it's bad)

When I went this past week again I was surprised to initially see everything across the board increased in price - sandwiches have jumped from $18 to now being $20.

Imagine my surprise when my buzzer rings to tell me the brisket sandwich is ready... to looking down at it and seeing they have pulled a McDonalds and drastically reduced the bun size.

Previously (the three times I went there in the first few months they were open) I had brisket falling out of the sandwich and all over the tray because of how much was packed in there - touching back on my earlier point that the sandwiches were the only reasonably priced item.

Not any more. What a joke my last experience was.

Done the old fool'aroo by overloading initially to get you back in the door and have now drastically reduced their portions.

Was a good laugh (except for the guy who ordered 200g) seeing another member of the party order 100g of a meat, and another person ordering 200g of the same meat - and both getting one slice.

$35 for the 200g meat plate should honestly see them thrown in prison for highway robbery.

Good on them though for how they've marketed it and getting prime location next to a brewery - that'll see them stay open a little longer before they should be closed down.

The comments about how amazing this place is... I pray none of these people ever find themselves in Texas because once they've had the real thing, they'll never...

I don't leave reviews, but this one deserves it.

AVOID. It's a rip off. We paid $75 for the largest serving of meat. 3 meats totalling 500g with 3 sides. The meat portions were a complete joke. Absolutely tiny. I was still hungry by the end of it. Ended up going to flappy's next door which had a line going all the way out the door mind you....

As other reviews have stated, the portions are laughable and a rip off. You barely get anything for what you pay for. Maybe its inflation but i can absolutely assure you there are better meat places around.

Now onto the meat itself. Dry as a bone. The chicken was a sliver, and the beef were maybe 2 slivers about 20cm long and 5cm wide and extremely thin. The pork was just a small, tiny 100g portion. The chicken tasted worse than what you can get from coles. Now that's saying something. The beef and pork had a tiny amount of flavour but not what you'd expect for $75. They gave you more chips than meat! Imagine paying what is effectively $25 bucks for 150g of chicken. What a joke.

Oh and the drinks are way too expensive. $8 for a can of great northern lol.

Won't be coming back again. Don't believe the influencers on social media who hype it up. 1/5 stars.

In the words of reviewbrah. "My disappointment is immeasurable, and my...

Had the platter for 2 on Sunday, the hotlink and the brisket. Went there after reading the Sun Herald review. An absolute disappointment! Slabs of meat, says Lenny Ann Low who obviously does not know what a slab means. The ad says 300 grams of meat which is definitely NOT a slab. The hotlink was about 100g, hard and chewy; the so-called slab of meat was about 200grams, with a thick chunk of fat through the middle of the brisket, so cutting that out left us very little meat. The chips were done earlier and were dry and extremely thin. The coleslaw was okay if you prefer minimum sauce. We had 3 slices of pickles, so thin they were translucent! Cost $50. In the present economic situation, this is definitely not 'value for money'. I predict that Brisket Boys will not survive another year with this poor offering for $50. If you want value for money go next door to Flappy's. the queues were long, so people DO know about value for money and good food. I wonder if Lenny Ann Low had some incentive to write this glowing but misleading review. No one returns after a bad experience. Lenny Ann learn about food and...
