Probably the best Halal fried chicken in the west.
Got the chance to experience Flappy's for the first time after reading many mixed reviews, service was decent, given a menu as we walked in, found a table with seats that we had to wipe down ourselves as there was some minor debris on them, not a big deal, ordered the food which took around 15 minutes for the buzzer to go off which isn't bad.
Ordered:
3 piece chicken combo box, Chili bang burger, Flappy's sauce, 2L strawberry lemonade, Chocolate milkshake,
The combo box comes with "seasoned" fries, buttered toast and gravy.
Flappy's sauce is ok, a little more tangy than some of the other notible places with a similar "signature sauce" pleasant but nothing incredible.
The chicken was fresh and crispy, the outer skin was not very well seasoned however the chicken meat itself was quite flavourful, altogether well balanced, but not perfect (7/10).
The fries are crinkle cut and were unfortunately very lightly seasoned, wasn't the crispiest or freshest. However, they were still ok considering (5/10)
The chili bang "burger" is more of a sub style sandwich, coming with pickles and lettuce and a quite a strange chili sauce that I personally wouldn't recommend, the chicken inside was two tenders and finally a slice of american cheese, if not for the strange chili flavour this would be a great burger, (6/10).
The gravy is quite nice, but isn't specifically traditional in flavour, leading to being not to everyone's taste.
Strawberry lemonade is very sugary of course, and quite acidic, I believe would be nicer served with a lot of ice, or as a smoothie much more than a straight lemonade, (6/10).
Milkshake (thickshake) had a lighter chocolate flavour than some, but tasted very fresh with the real full whipped cream top, it was supringly good (9/10).
I would say if you're in the area are looking for a feed, its decent, if you're going out of your way to get there, probably not worth anything more than a 30 minute drive.
Overall with all things considered 7/10
Disclaimer: My reviews are generally based on a first time visit, I mostly do not, while at the restaurant/venue, ask for things to be changed, recooked or refunded due to quality or temperature issues, this is to get an unbiased opinion, UNLESS something is completely Raw/undercooked/inedible to the...

The Atmosphere was very busy. The venue was completely packed out with a line going through the door. I also got the feeling of being rushed.
The Service at the counter was very quick and easy. After a short wait the Food was served fresh and hot.
Chicken Combo Box (Upgraded to Tenders)
The Chicken Tenders were cooked well, the Chicken was flaky on the outside and still juicy on the inside. The Flavour profile wasn't too significant on its own and it really needs the Signature Sauce for it to go well. 8/10
The Crinkle Cut Chips was perfectly cooked, the Chips were crispy and seasoned well. They were good on their own or you can pair it with the Signature Sauce too. 9/10
The Buttered Potato Toast by far was my favourite item of this combo, it had a nice golden brown crust from the butter and it was fluffy on the inside. It was also paired well with the Signature Sauce too. 9.5/10
The Signature Sauce was an additional and to fully captivate the experience you do have get it with this order. (as the trend advises) The Sauce started off with a light tangy flavour and then cane back with a great other layers, nothing too amazing but as mentioned before it is needed to pair with other items to keep them from not being too dry like the Tenders. The Sauce itself isn't too overpowering, but unfortunately it needs to overpower these other items. 7.5/10
Gravy wasn't served at the time
Strawberry Lemonade was nice and refreshing. It's hard to not get addicted, it was worth the 2L jug. 9.5/10
To summarise my experience the Food was generally good and definitely worth a try. There is plenty of other items as well on the menu that did seem to be worth a try too. It certainly isn't something for me to have oftenly due to locality, but overall a decent experience, but in my opinion it is a bit over hyped.

Read more(3.5 stars) Manufactor is an interesting proposition. Taking over a dormant industrial site in Penrith, businessman John Joannou has created an innovation and manufacturing hub that also takes on the area’s fast food giants. The historic Crane Enfield Metal factory, a 1960s copper factory, is now home to a boutique selection of pioneering eateries. In a nod to the site’s industrial roots, machinery from the former occupant is employed to create a playground of outdoor dining spaces where you can eat, drink, and spend your hard earned bucks with the little guys.
You’ll find an array of eateries, from the American-Filipino Burger Point, to American BBQ experts, Brisket Boys, to Louisiana-style fried chicken outlet, Flappy’s Fried Chicken. The latter lured me in with chicken’n’waffles and Cajun rice’n’beans, but both items seem to have fallen by the wayside since their launch. No matter, I was still happy to be there to try their bone-in fried chook. It’s served either original or spicy, with the spicy winning favour as, while crisp and reasonably juicy, the original lacked salt and oomph.
With the box-based menu favouring tenders and including chips, we ended up creating our own shared meal with three pieces of chook ($12), potato mash and Creole gravy ($5/small), Cajun onion ($5/small), and coleslaw ($5/small). The potato and gravy being the standout, the coleslaw felt more real and less sweet than KFC, and the thin loops of red onion suited the same light, crisp batter as the bird, best when dragged through their spicy chilli mayo. ($2). Their fresh traditional lemonade ($8/each) isn’t Lebanese-level sour, but it was good enough to cut through eating fried (but not oily) food. They also serve a range of fried chicken sandwiches on their famous potato bread ($5/small) which we ordered and paid for but...
