Honestly the food was amazing but the service was absolutely horrible. I came with my twin brothers and a friend tonight to eat in, we arrive and only one lady has greeted us with a smile (no mask but I wasn’t wearing one either so it didn’t bother me) I had my brothers order first and as I was still looking the teenage girl wearing the scarf told me to come order like literally told me to come over and order not asking. As I was ordering she was to busy flirting and blushing and having heart eyes for the customer the other lady was serving, I asked for a milkshake on the side of my food since it’s advertised and she literally looked disgusted with what I said! I order and we all sit down and ageeed that the scarfy was being rude and ridiculous while she continued to flirt with that customer and not do work. She hands us two burgers without telling us who they belong to. One burger actually belonged to us and the other burger belonged to the customer the other lady was serving. When we brought it to her attention she looked embarrassed but when we told her to take the burger she looked disgusted in us and didn’t wanna touch the food that she messed up or even come near us, it ended with the customer coming to grab his own burger off our tray of food cause the team members wouldn’t. We asked for take away cause that was such an embarrassing situation and we all felt offended by the way the teen girls worked. The manager on hand walked in at perfect time when we grabbing our stuff to go and we explained what had happened and left while he spoke to the team members (not certain if he was the manager but he was lovely and I do apologise if me saying scarfy is rude it’s just my way of describing them apart) The food was lovely overall as we did eat around the coroner literally in the rain cause we weren’t going to put up with...

Just like you can tell a good Chinese takeaway based on the faded yellow 80s style photos of their dishes, any experienced burger aficionado will tell you, you can judge a burger joint by their thickshake.

We ordered two chocolate thickshakes and not gonna lie if Maccas knew how to make these thickshakes their ice cream machine would be broken 24/7. These thickshakes can give you memories of summer even if it was summer. Like if you're depressed these thickshakes will give you joy. I'm the kind of girl that will travel for shake and I'm going to be traveling here just for the shake.

So you can imagine the anticipation I had for the "OG Cheeseburger".

A good burger joint should be able to pull off the simple but classic cheeseburger....and these guys did not disappoint.

And THEN IT CAME OUT WITH A SYRINGE OF CHEESE SAUCE for all those fat c*s.

Well I am one of those fat c*s and so I injected that cheesy goodness of happiness all over that burger and then everytime I Took a bite because why should I not be happy and satisfied at the same time?

Now it ain't cheap. Burger alone was $13 but it comes with its own medical syringe of medicinal cheese sauce to heal your hunger. And the thick shakes cost around $9? (I can't remember) But bonus if you're broke 1 burger here will mean you won't get another burger for at least 3 days, so by girls math rules that's only $4.33 per day you've saved yourself in one sitting.

5 stars looking forward to trying the other burgers, will be back...

I've eaten a LOT of burgers in my time, and I can honestly say that burger cartel is a standout. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a vibe that's both energetic and welcoming. The decor is cool and modern, but the real star of the show (besides the burgers, of course) is the incredible service.

Speaking of which, I have to give a special shout-out to the guy at the front desk. I didn't catch his name, but he was super friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure everyone had a great experience. He patiently explained the menu, offered recommendations based on my preferences, and even remembered my drink order when I came back for a second round! That kind of personal touch is rare these days, and it really made my visit memorable.

Now, let's talk about the burgers. The menu is creative and offers something for everyone, from smash burgers to more adventurous creations with unique toppings. The patties are juicy and flavorful, the buns are perfectly toasted, and the ingredients are fresh and high-quality. I tried the rib burger (their signature item) and it was an explosion of flavour in every bite. Seriously, you HAVE to try it! The fries were also crispy and perfectly seasoned. Overall, burger cartel is a fantastic place to grab a delicious burger in a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Highly...

So my partner and I got ourselves a Bumpy Johnson, I chose the last option since it offered a cheese syringe. So when the burgers came, I was immensely amused and satisfied that I did indeed get a cheese burger with a syringe. Of course we also got ourselves regular fries and glass bottled coke because where else can you get that! The burgers themselves are really nice. Juicy patties, well stacked burgers with nice fillings, and very eccentric presentation. I had a lot of fun adding extra cheese to my already delicious cheeseburger, so props to Burger Cartel for that. The fries were quite standard fries though. Definitely not Maccas fries, but some might sadly confuse the two. But hey, they sure know how to make the burger the star of the show! I'd recommend this place if you're looking for a decent burger a little past normal opening hours. Even if you get it during normal opening hours, I'm pretty sure it will be satisfying regardless!

Had the Dirty Dog Double beef hotdog which was amazing. I don't like Jalapenos but they weren't hot so were totally fine. The Snitch Chicken burger was great too. Loads of slaw tho so if Coleslaw is not your thing try one of the many other Chicken Burgers on offer. The Bumpy Johnson Black Angus Burger was one of the nicest beef patties I have ever had, absolutely delicious burger. The french fries & sweet potato fries were great as were the onion rings and the boss is around talking to guests and making them all feel welcome. Lovely bloke.
