Al Sultan Pastry — Restaurant in Sydney

WOW, WOW, WOW is all I can say about this place and its delightful array of sweets. We tasted the non sweetened and the regular pastry and all were really tasty.

On a personal note the staff were delightful to me. I also noticed how tirelessly Hhanan works all day on her feet, as did the other charming lady with a scarf.

For those who are feeling down, perhaps adding a bit more sweetness to your life is the answer, instead of focusing on complaints.

We bought a box full of different slices of cakes & eclairs from Al Sultan pastry. They looked beautiful & appetizing, however they tasted less than mediocre. The white cakes with cream toppings tasted like we were eating bread with thick milk cream. Had no sweetness to it at all. You wouldn't think it was a dessert. The chocolate cake was dry & the chocolate cream on top was salty. I don't know if they tasted like this because they weren't fresh or if they just need to really work on their ratios when mixing ingredients. I.e. More sugar/less salt. The guy who works there is rude. Never going back again. I would rather walk across the Station and pay my money to Ibrahim Pastry. Staffs there are more friendly, smiley and give some time to answer when you ask them about cakes.

How can you sell cakes when you don’t want to talk about cakes?

I literally walked out 10 minutes ago from this store and walked across to the another bakery shop and bought my cake. Me and my family are never going to spend our money in this shop ever. And I will not eat cakes if I see your logo in the box.
