Cafe Bikini. — Restaurant in Sydney

Arrived at 12:58 (Saturday 30th Oct) admittedly 2 minutes before opening, to be “greeted” by “is there any reason you guys are all staring at me?” While we patiently waited to ask politely if we were ok to sit and wait considering we were a whole 2 minutes early.

After asking said question super politely, we were then dismissed in a rude manner, “can’t you see I am not finished setting up yet”. We would have been more than happy to wait the 2 minutes if spoken to respectfully, but as such decided to take our business elsewhere, as locals that reside on Hall St and are regular visitors it was a super disappointing experience in a place that we often recommend for a wholesome, friendly experience, which this was...

Horrible experience. The owner couldn’t accommodate a 6 people family in an EMPTY restaurant. So incredibly rude. Do not recommend at all. We went to Bills next door. Great atmosphere, excellent service and much finer environment.

To respond to the owners answer: you offered me two small table to fit 6 people (that could fit 4) which I told you didn’t work, as we were having lunch. Second: you didn’t even bother to come out from behind the counter to greet us or help us with the table until we did something that annoyed you. OMG, my those garlic prawns are special. A good blast of 🌶️ chili and slices of garlic. The wonderful server, Leah, was spot on with her recommendation for a vodka martini to go with. I got an extra olive. Tiger beer comes in big glasses, I wanna steal one, lol. The sidewalk traffic on a hot 28° spring day is even hotter. Great place, great experience. I'll be back....
