WORST DINING EXPERIENCE IN BONDI!!! I have never written a bad review about a restaurant and I eat out frequently. I am a local and have never dined here before and this is bar far the worst place to eat in Bondi. Rude waitresses and terrible food. I ordered an extra spicy green curry and it arrived as a bland coconut cream without any spice or curry flavour! The rice was over cooked and when I questioned the spice I was given chilli sauce in a bottle, you know the chilli sauce you use at a dumpling establishment. Furthermore, this is the worst service I've had. I looked at the menu online before arriving for lunch and my $9.90 curry bill came to $17.90 - after waiting for the waitress to finish her conversation whilst ignoring me and three patrons trying to get someone's attention, I was told it must have been an old menu. So I had to get more cash out, seriously cash only? I told the waitress I was getting cash out across the road, yes literally access the road, and I was told I had to leave something behind! I was so shocked I thought I misheard her and told her I was a local and asked her to repeat was just said, then she leaned towards my iPad to grab it and said I had to leave something behind!! Needless to say, I was furious and was rather unpleasant in my response and proceeded to withdraw money without leaving a $900 bond for my $18 meal. And whilst I payed for my meal, I will never return. These guys simply do not deserve a prime...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBeware: they lied and poisoned us. We called to ask if they put any MSG/E621/Mono-sodium Glutamate. They assured us that they don't use MSG. In case you're not aware: cheap Asian restaurants use MSG as a flavour enhancer, unfortunately MSG attacks your nervous system and has been linked to cancer and other illnesses. We then asked if their sauces have MSG, and they confirmed that their sauces don't have MSG. We ordered twice. Then I decided to check before placing our third order. The lady confirmed that they don't put any MSG in their food. Since some unscrupulous Asian restaurants have lied to us in the past by somehow thinking that they are not putting their sauces into our food, I asked if their sauces had MSG. The lady said she didn't know, and her sauces maybe had MSG. She said that 'it's not possible to find out if our sauces have MSG'. Seriously?!? Look at their google result listing, and you'll see that their website claims 'healthy' and 'safe'. I wish that Australia would clamp down on these liars, and that more Aussies would be informed to ask questions, rather than trust and be poisoned with cheap nasty ingredients. If you're reading this, please ask every Asian restaurant if they use MSG, and avoid the restaurant if they do. Since we can buy MSG free sauces in our supermarkets, then why can't these Asian restaurants also buy quality...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGuys thereās a reason this place only has 3.6 stars. Ordered the Thai green curry and it was like a bowl of dirty soup with raw vegetables. Staff said they intentionally donāt cook the vegetables š ?! Sent the dish back as was disgusting but still was charged. They asked me did I want to take the meal home?! Why would I take bad food home that I canāt eat? My friend, who ate prawns was really unwell after the meal.
What was worse than the food is the Customer service. Itās the worst I have ever experienced and the āmanagerā who said her name is Hannah was laughing when I was trying to explain the issue. We asked to split the bill and that was a big drama for the staff too.
Honestly I have never witness such poor customer service, it was...
