Cafe on Haig — Restaurant in Sydney

Not great coffees. I am unsure how this cafe has received so many positive reviews. Just a little deceitful. When i search on maps for top rated cafes i expect it to be good. This is why I have needed to rate 1 star to advise other people like myself who rely on genuine reviews. From observation, their main customers are men. After typing that, i went back to check the previous reviews and can see who have been the main contributors. With so many positive reviews this has raised their overall result to be higher than what they deserve. I expect any 4.3+ to be good - or even drinkable

I do commend them for their ability to multitask and take orders whilst making coffees. However, quality should be the utmost priority for a cafe.

The milk was extremely hot, there was no froth / body to the coffee. It was super disappointing. Had to buy coffee...

I dropped by to grab a few pieces of knafeh chocolate. Also decided to have breakfast and ended up ordering the big breakfast with bacon, sausages, and a chai latte. The big breakfast was very generous; it could easily feed two people, but I was dining solo and couldn't finish it despite my efforts. The chai latte had a thick foam that I found quite enjoyable, even though the chai flavor itself was a bit subtle. I was so full by that point that it didn't bother me much. The customer service was fantastic, very friendly and welcoming. As for the chocolate, it definitely hit the spot! At $15 each, it was a great deal. IMO the knafeh layer could be a bit thicker as it was quite minimal. There was parking available across the road on both corners, although it might be a bit tricky to find a spot depending on what time you get there. Definitely...

BEST CAFE IN GEORGES HALL!

I’ve been here a few times and everything has been consistent from the food to the most welcoming customer service.

My recent visit I tried the Avo Smash and was able to customise it to my liking. Everything was cooked and toasted to perfection.

Then we ordered the watermelon Halloumi plate and this definitely wasn’t the first time as we are obsessed with it! What a combination of watermelon, halloumi, mint and honey?! I honestly doubted it but once I tried, I was in love..

The coffee is always 10/10 here, they serve Tobys and have magicians as baristas!

We also had the chance to try the milk cake. WOW WOW WOW! I cannot explain to you good this cake is, you need to try for yourself !
