Poon Thai Authentic — Restaurant in Sydney

Been ordering from this restaurant for years, very sad as it used to be the best Thai joint in the area but iv ordered from here twice in 2 months, first time was disappointing so I let the owner know and yeah fair play to him he gave me a few dishes on the house to compensate. After making another order tonight I'm just as disappointed as this is worse even though I even told the lady on the phone these are free meals from the boss, so I would have thought they would have made them perfect but I guess not. Pork belly was so dry, unedible & the salt and pepper squid is like eating deep fried paper, extremely thin and dry and very tough and old, also unedible.

Baby corns are not fresh, out of can. Terrible taste. Young kids are customer services, can't helps much. New management is not the same as before. I WON'T COME BACK AGAIN.

I ordered a Pad Kee Mow dish for my dinner and ate the baby corn, the texture were awful. Food was off. I have to stop my dish and told the customer services about it. I was not happy at all, ruininh my dinner and my night.

The chef confirms that if I didnt like the baby corns then he can make me another dish and charge for it, so I need to pay twice. He must be kidding!!!

I asked the customer service to junk my dish into the bin, paid one, wont come.

Has this place changed ownership over the last few months? Whenever we order from here we always get the egg fried rice with shallot and there’s usually quite a nice amount of shallot in it but we always ask for extra which they normally oblige with a very large amount. We haven’t been to this store in a few months so when we got our order of egg fried rice with extra shallot there was hardly any shallot in it plus it was very tasteless. Before it was delicious but now just tasteless rice. Not much egg in it either. On a side note we also ordered curry puffs which...
