Wildfire Pizza — Restaurant in Sydney

I'm not sure what to say here. I'm not sure if we just went on a wrong night because what we experienced is completely different from the reviews im reading.

To start, the waitress was lovely and welcoming. The ambience was nice.

Honey wings- average Bruschetta - bread soft and nice, prefer diced tomato not cherry tomato Pepperoni pizza - pepperoni raw and not crisped up like it should. Dough sogggyyyyy Prawn pizza- same as above. The dough was so soggy that the topping just fell off. So much chilli, it was overkill. The cheese has a funny taste. Pesto pasta- plenty of sauce, not fresh pesto, had a sourness to it. Quite sickening to be honest. Homemade lemonade- sour and bitter, not complementing to our meals.

Price wise- very overpriced for what you are getting.

Not here to rant and whinge, but im sorry to say, this was one of the worst pizza/pasta experiences i have had. I hope they work on their flavours and especially the pizza base because a pizza slice which you cant even lift off the plate without it falling apart is not called a pizza.

In response to the restaurants comment to this review. What are we going to say to the waitress? She isnt the one in the kitchen. How can they fix the meal when every pizza that was coming out looked exactly the same. Soggy. We also didnt say anything because both pizzas and pasta were bad. It wasnt just one dish out of all the dishes. If it was one then i would say something, but when it's several dishes, then that's a reflection on the standard of food. There was something wrong. Maybe the cheese in the pasta and pizza? Please check it as the flavours were not right. It has actually made 2/3 of us unwell tonight. Dont take this review as us trying to hinder your reputation. I've eaten all over the world and across multiple states in australia. I'd recommend you take a moment and actually review what's coming out of your kitchen instead of taking this review to heart and being sarcastic to genuine people who wanted to come out and support your business after seeing such...

With this review, keep in mind everyone has different taste buds. Some of the Pizza's/ Pasta's were great, some were average.

Nice vibe, the waitress was excellent, food came out quickly.

Pasta: 🍝

Gnocci with the pink sauce was our favourite !

Creamy Mushroom Chicken Pasta: was delicious. I would come back for this.

Pesto Penne: I loved the addition of the Sundried Tomatoes, but it was a tad too Creamy for my liking, and the basil had an artifical taste. Nevertheless, this dish was wiped clean !

Hot chips: Thick steak chips. 💯

Pizzas 🍕

Garlic prawn 🍤: This was our favourite pizza of the night. Everything was cooked perfectly on this pizza and flavours were excellent, quantity of prawns were generous.

Vegetarian: Was unique, I really enjoyed the egg plant addition.

Cheesy Garlic: the cheese tasted a little rubbery, esp as it cooled down. Other wise, pretty average.

Peri Peri was a let down. Had it been advertised as a Chicken and Rocket Pizza, our review may have been different, all four adults with us that night had the same sentiments with this pizza. We were all expecting something very different when we ordered Peri Peri.

Patate: was OK, but very oily. Not sure what I was expecting with this one.

Pepperoni: I can't judge, didn't eat it, but everyone else seemed to enjoy it, so I guess they liked it.

The pizza bases are thin ( I prefer them like this), way too much crust, leads to wastage.

Hot honey chicken: the sauce was was really nice, but the chicken it self was not nice. Maybe washing the Chicken in vinegar might help ? Or maybe we were just unlucky.

The lemonade: 4 out of 6 didn't like it, saying it was too sour and too much ice. I personally loved the Lemonade because it wasn't too sweet and I loved the sourness. I would definitely buy the lemonade again.

Overall I'd come back to eat here again, but I'd be selective with my meals.

Disappointing Pickup Experience and Unacceptable Service I placed an online order at 4:50 PM for a 5:45 PM pickup, assuming this would allow ample time for preparation. However, upon arrival at 5:45 PM, my order was not ready, and the staff seemed completely unaware of it, or even the kitchen's status, despite it clearly showing on their POS system with my name and pickup time. While a delay can be understandable, what truly made this experience unacceptable was the attitude of one staff member. An older woman wearing a Puma jumper was absolutely disgraceful in her demeanor. Instead of offering a simple apology or an estimated wait time (which would have been perfectly fine), she took no ownership of the issue and bizarrely made it seem as though I was the problem. I remained calm, spoke respectfully, and was not aggressive at any point, making her reaction even more shocking. I was being gaslight for the first time in my life at a restaurant. This individual clearly lacks basic hospitality skills. This was particularly surprising as usually the people here are lovely, which made this encounter a real departure from the norm.
