Nahm Thai was one of the best Thai restaurants around and would definitely give the top Thai restaurants in Sydney a run for their money. But sadly not any more. Two stars are for the okay entree. However, the mains, the Pad See Ew w/ chicken and the Pad Thai w/ duck were horrible. I have never had these two famous Thai dishes come out with very overcooked mushy noodles covered in so much gravy with barely any vegetables. The three to four leaves of what looked like very old yellow looking gain larn was below average. We have had better, smoky noodles dishes from a shopping mall food court. And why gravy?? The pineapple rice was also below average and we specifically asked for no egg, yet the dish had egg. It is such a shame as there is such great potential in a good location. I hope Nahm Thai can improve as we would like to come back. Please don't smother your food in horrible gravy and for food allergic customers, pay attention as it could turn into something...
Read moreMy partner and I visited for the first time tonight and almost instantly after our entrées, my partner messaged his family to tell them about the incredible thai place we had found. We shared the crispy prawn dumplings and the satay prawns and as someone who doesn't even like corriander, I couldn't get enough of the prawn dumplings. Seconds after we finished our entrées our mains arrived. We shared the thai green curry with beef, the massaman lamb shanks and a side of plain rice. The lamb was so incredibly tender we were able to cut it with a spoon. The Thai green curry was a perfect amount of spice that left you wanting more after each bite. Not only was the food amazing but very reasonably priced for the very generous portion sizes. The service was absolutely incredible our waiter was honestly perfect, he helpful, quick, polite and most importantly knew when we needed him. We will return soon and we will be bringing friends and family...
Read moreThai food has my heart 🫶🏼 Didn’t want to travel too far so we decided to grab take away from here. Overall, the food was really authentic and packed with flavour. Made to order fresh and hot. The mieng khum was a star ⭐️ for us and the packing of all the condiments is so thoughtful!! We also loved the pad see ew with duck. It was cooked to ducking perfection 😌
We also got a fish dish which was also coated in flavour and super fresh. Everything had a good taste it was not amazing but pretty good for the area without having to travel further in western syd. 😁However, we thought it was a bit pricey considering the portion sizes.
It was still a good feed and wouldn’t mind returning!
