my fav korean inspired brunch cafe rn fr😮‍💨

MUST TRY KIMCHI TOASTIE AND STEAK SANDWICH 🤤 all dishes i tried were chefs kiss 🤌

kimchi toastie ($13) ✅ the sous vide kimchi is so yum 🤌 perfectly toasted sourdough w the cheese is chefs kiss 😚 BBB: bethel bulgogi burger ($14) 🌟 bulgogi is soooo well marinated and veges are crunchy and freshh steak sandwich ($17) ✅ LOVE every component of this steak sandwich, the sous vide scotch fillet is super tender paired with caramelised onion and garlic dip+ mustard mayo ,, the turkish bread is also so nicely toasted 😋

Really bad experience from this cafe, highly NOT recommended!! I came here on a Thursday morning when it was really quiet and nearly empty. I was waiting for my dog to be groomed so I sat at a corner for one and a half hours. I was polite and apologetic the whole time and ordered more than I needed (two drinks and one egg Benedict) to feel comfortable sitting there for longer. When I finished the cashier said to me: are you finished and going? I said yes, she said FINALLY!!!! The passive aggression!!!! The girl next to me also sat for a long time, they didn’t say anything to her, I can’t help but wonder it’s because of my ethnicity 🤷‍♀️I rarely leave bad reviews, but I think this cafe deserves my first bad google...

There are many better cafes in Glebe with better food, coffee and customer service.

This place is extremely cramped and for some reason the staff didnt allow my friend and I to sit at a larger table, saying "it is reserved for groups of more than three", despite the fact that there were only two people sitting there when we arrived, and they immediately seated two people there again despite them arriving after us.

Rude and pathetic customer service, and on top of that they burned my banana bread.

Didnt even bother to say goodbye to us when we were leaving!

I wish I had paid more heed to the negative reviews and gone somewhere else. Only came here for the GoA coffee, which is usually good.

Found this place close to my airbnb and it became my go-to cafe. I visited 4 times in 3 weeks, 3 of which I brought my friends over to try. I tried their kimchi toastie to start off and that got me coming back. The chicken & avo and pesto toastie were just as satisfying. Their bacon egg roll is a highlight of flavours, and it is now one of my and my friend's favourites -- he's hard to please too. Ambience is perfect for if you would like a quiet and cosy space. Coffee and brekkie there was consistently a great way to start the day.
