I live five minutes away from Khao Hom so the take away was still fresh and hot when I got home. I opened the lid of Salt & Pepper Squid and left the bag of Money Bags opened on the way home so they were not soggy from the hot steam trapped in their box/bag.

First the good thing, the money bags have a super crunchy and fluffy texture which was excellent. The taste was ordinary though.

Another one I tried based on good reviews but my experience was very disappointing.

The quality of the seafood was disappointing. The squid was clearly frozen with no taste. The prawns and fish pieces in Pad Thai were also tasteless and didn’t taste fresh. Due to the unfresh seafood, the Pad Thai tasted off so we couldn’t eat. If you want a really good Pad Thai I highly recommend TYTG just down the road. Their Pad Thai is always tasty with really fresh seafood and noodles with perfect texture.

I quite like the taste of their red curry which was not overly creamy but the duck again did not...

I tried the „tom yum soup“ from here if you could even call it that i suppose…. It tasted more like the sauce from a 2minute noodle pxket mixed with some veges. It has been a meal i have always ordered from many different places when i am sick or congested because it contains much ginger and lemongrass and spice to clear my Sinus’s. However today i tried your so called tom yum. Even asked for it to be extra spicey which your staff member repeated back to me and confirmed on the phone. It tastes like a watered down gazpacho. I have never been so disappointed with a meal in my life. I am a local who enjoys to order many other dishes regularly but after this display i will never return. That tom yum is a disgrace to its name, to your restaurant and a spit in the face to...

The perfect authentic Thai restaurant! We’ve had dinner here the third time now and it’s always just delicious! Finally a restaurant that gives you the real thai-spice experience! 🌶️ the staff is so lovely, the food is extremely fast (I still have no clue how they do it because it’s always freshly cooked, you can see that in the kitchen) We’ve tried fried rice, drunken rice, the best pork belly we’ve ever had and a minced chicken salat with a bunch of herbs and fresh ingredients. My fav is the Tom Kha Gai Suppe, the coconut rice is highly recommended as well. Also the dishes are very cheap in comparison to other restaurants; a veg rice dish is about 13 dollars, the soup is 10 dollars, meat dishes...

Ordered for delivery through Menulog and had a great experience: delivery was quick and food was delicious! The money bags were insanely crispy & the filling was generous. I’d also highly recommend the chili basil stir-fry - the sauce was spicy & flagrant from the herbs, delicious on rice (which you need to order separately btw!). Drunken noodles aren’t usually our favourite but I wanted to give it a try at this place & it was good! Very spicy though & sweeter than I expected. The prices are also very good! It probably won’t be our last time dining at/ordering from this place :)

I am an American tourist visiting Sydney right now and staying in an Airbnb near Glebe Point Road. Pretty much every day at lunch, I visit Khao Hom Thai Restaurant to pick up one of their $10 lunch specials. The food is delicious and the amount of food you get for the price blows me away, especially after I ate at Din Tai Fung in Broadway Sydney shopping centre for TRIPLE the price (and it wasn't as good). I get the vegetable and tofu drunken noodles, which really has a kick. I love spicy food though, and theirs is TO DIE FOR.
