We frequent cherry beans stores and this one has been quite poor on the occasions we have been there. Today they had no waffles, and no dark chocolate for hot chocolate. I asked if they could substitute items in the big breakfast - they could. BUT they refused to give me anything in replacement for baked beans!? They are $3 to add them on, yet they could not give me a hash brown, or an extra half a sausage instead? You only get 1 slice of toast and literally 1 mushroom say 2inch diameter. Considering we paid $80 for breakfast I would have thought they would be more accommodating. The staff taking the order was unfriendly. The meal sizes compared to say north rocks branch were miserable. The coffee has shrunk in size, and I could not believe it was $6.90 for that sized cup. In all, we found this a very miserable morning. We will stick to baulkham hills and north rocks where the standards are higher in all respects sadly. In comparison I frequent a cafe in castle hill, I get 2 eggs, 2 toast, 3 halves of tomato, a hash brown, bacon, and a good handful of fried mushrooms for $17 and including a coffee. Somehow they managed to get our order mixed up and we received our order much earlier than expected ..we didnโt mind! But they brought our order 2 minutes after I paid , turned out that this was actually someone elseโs order!! They had mistakenly brought to our table (same dish same price) . Another staff working there asked me did you order x2 of this dish ? And I said no ! Just one , when I went to the counter and asked the girl did you put through x2 ? She said no and asked me โhave you started eating ?? Then you have to pay !โ And she just walked away from the counter and rolled her eyes as if it was my fault !!!?? I gave them multiple chances with my coffee as everyone has bad days and the first two coffees I ordered were great taste wise. Iโve been back about 4 times since then and each time they sneakily tried to not use ingredients e.g. ordered a Belgian mocha which is more than a regular one and they didnโt use the Belgian chocolate and when they did put the chocolate in there it got less and less. Staff never say thank you, please or use any manners. They barely even look at you. Then when you really kindly point out a mistake they talk amoungst each other and say nothing to the customer aka me. I really try to give businesses a go but they make an absorbent amount of money off items. I asked how much the tiny basque cheesecake was and got told $10! It was half a cupcake in size.
