Cali Press Cafe & Breakfast Bondi Beach — Restaurant in Sydney

I read a few of the reviews on your cafe and I really wanted to see how you guys would respond to complaints, because you look like a really lovely cafe that puts their heart and soul into doing your best. And as the owner of a small business myself I know you really value your customers feedback.

So I picked up the phone and tried calling your landline but that was busy. So then I spent another 10 minutes and eventually found a mobile number and that went to voicemail. Not to be deterred I then went to your website and I thought “Ok great I can send an email” But I found a generic form so I left a message there.

I can empathise that if I did have a problem, I probably would have become frustrated and just put a bad review online because it’s just easier than being able to tell you directly… And I think this is really common for a lot of people nowadays - actually getting someone to genuinely listen to them and solve their concern takes a lot of effort for the customer.

Anyways I certainly don’t hold this against you guys because running a small business takes a lot of effort and passion and really deserves respect - So I give you 5 stars for your effort and congratulate you for having a successful small business.

I recently visited Cali Press and had a wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The decor was stylish and tasteful, with plenty of comfortable seating options and lots of natural light.

The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed and offering suggestions on the menu. Speaking of the menu, it was filled with a variety of delicious options. I decided to try the avocado toast and a latte, both of which were expertly prepared and tasted amazing.

What really stood out to me about this cafe, however, was the attention to detail. From the hand-written chalkboard menu to the beautiful latte art, it was clear that the staff took pride in their work and went the extra mile to make each customer feel special.

The atmosphere was also perfect for getting work done or catching up with friends. There was a low hum of conversation and background music that made it easy to focus, but still provided a pleasant ambiance.

Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this cafe and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The quality of the food, the friendly staff, and the attention to detail all combine to create a truly special...

I asked the girl at the counter if "big papa" smoothie was vegan. She started listing the ingredients to me (which I had read on the menu already, but often all ingredients are not listed), I asked again if was "vegan" and she started at me confused as if she's never heard the word before. So I specified "Does it have any dairy milk in it ?" She quickly answered "Yes it does ! It has almond milk". I informed her that almond milk is vegan and placed my order. Then the other girl working came over and told her college the "big papa" has honey in the granola (as expected not listed as ingredient) they were able to swap it to cacao crunch. The bowl was delicious and filling (ordered a large). So the feedback is Cali press needs to educate their staff to be knowledgeable about their products to answer frequent questions like vegan/dairy free especially in a health conscious location like bondi beach. As a last note the girls working also had such heavy accent and mumbled while talking very fast I had to ask everything to be repeated twice. I have an accent myself and would not hold that against anyone, but in order to provide good service and reassure costumers they're not missing any info, it's useful to slow down and focus on clear...
