Camden Village Court — Restaurant in Sydney

Waited half hour for table. When placing order was told would be a delay on food as they were down a chef. That was ok as we were told. 45 mins into wait the waitress came and said can see your number coming up so we assumed not much longer to wait. At 1 hour (now 90 mins after arriving) i approached the counter and asked how much longer as we didnt really want to wait any longer. An older lady with dark hair then said very rudely "we cant tell you but no time soon, just give them back their money". And for this ladies rudeness and attitude alone i would never return to this place nor recommend it. We were patient in waiting, but i will not tolerate being spoken to that way after 90 minutes. An outstanding restaurant. Pleasing surrounds and the food was enjoyed by each of the five of us. Upon being seated, fresh cool clean pure water was supplied. It was specially bottled. Awesome. Service was great, prompt and the waiter also made us aware of some specials that were not on the printed lunch menu. Helpfull indeed !! My wife and I had beer battered flat head fillets, a mix of lettuce, (no iceberg lettuce) and chips to die for. How and why were they so good compared to others? A trade secret perhaps?
