The shop is located at the corner of Vaughan st. and Joseph st. Lidcombe. The shop is also close to the Lidcombe train station.
Knowing it’s in Lidcombe area, where there’s a lot of Korean BBQ restaurants. it still gets busy. Just like the other Korean BBQ, there have a good amount of delicious food options and a great selection of fresh meats available such as beef, pork, prawn and squid.
The meats are really good, it has a good amount of servings and the marbling on the meat was good. The amount of side dishes was good as well, my wife truly enjoyed the mash potato and coleslaw. The steamed rice was nice snd the cheese corn with bacon was a good twist snd texture.
Just a suggestion, regarding the lettuce baskets if you can put at least five leaves rather than three, and with the garlic and chilli can it be on a stainless bowl i like to fry it a little.
I loved how the staff checked on their customers and asked or replaced the grill plate as needed and also removing anything on the table that was no longer needed such as meeting trays.
The seats were comfortable, have enough room or space from each other but they really maximise their space, and there was even a lot of out door seating available.
Overall I loved the place, there was a great selection of food and it is a decent price. I think that the 90 minutes, allocated is sufficient enough to eat and enjoy the experience. And if you pay cash they do give a discount.
I do regret that we are so hungry that we didn’t have time to have a good photo. Definitely we...
Read moreLidcombe is basically the Koreatown of Sydney, packed with so many Korean BBQ spots that it can be overwhelming to choose where to go. As a Korean and a big BBQ and meat lover, I’d say this place is one of the decent options — not amazing, but okay if you have a Korean bbq craving.
First off, the banchan (side dishes) selection was good and paired well with the meats and other dishes. I ordered the unmarinated short rib, which was cut in a very interesting and Instagram-worthy way — great for photos, but unfortunately, the meat yield was quite small. Not ideal if you come hungry like I did.
I also ordered the naengmyeon and doenjang-jjigae, both of which were solid and tasted quite close to what you’d find back in Korea.
Overall, a decent spot if you’re in the area, but there are probably better options in Lidcombe if you're looking for value and generous meat portions.
Also finding a nearby parking spot in Lidcombe especially on Friday or weekend is so hard - be prepared to fight for a spot or walk...
Read moreNewly opened in February 2024 Korean BBQ restaurant located in a very popular area of Lidcombe for food and under a new building complex.
Quality of meat was high and cooked food was nice too. Lots of options for a group of 6 to order from. BBQ set up was good but circulation probably not the greatest with the amount of people ordering bbq inside. Probably still new and vents not working the best, but with windows being open, it made a big difference.
The Wagyu and beef tongue were definitely the highlights. Pancake wasn’t the greatest but passable. Egg soufflé / Gyeranjjim was nice and fluffy.
The only negative we took out of dining here was the speed of service and responding to requests, like sides top up. This is understandable from a new restaurant, so can’t be too harsh on them for that.
Very reasonably priced meal for 6 people so an overall good dining experience and will definitely...
