Palbok BBQ Lidcombe — Restaurant in Sydney

I wouldn’t even give 1 star if i could; this is literally the worst kbbq place i have went to in sydney ! we dined in around 6pm on sat, 28th jan. first of all the servers have no knowledge of the meat; secondly i told em 3 times to not mix beef n pork and yet they did ! thirdly the server burnt all our meat literally; it was so bad that all the burnt meat was stuck to the bbq plate and legit just turned charcoal black ! on top of that theres no tongs availabile on the table for me to just even do it myself! he just said “ sorry” for burning everything and left and never showed up! i literally paid $115 for 2 of us to have some burnt meat and to leave the restaurant still hungry cause guess what ! burnt meat is...

This is my first ever food review and I felt it was my duty to warn people of this place. No doubt the worst kbbq restaurant I've ever been too. If I could give it zero stars I would.

The meat platter set called "fantastic menu"... there was nothing fantastic about it. Considering the price vs portion, i felt like i was getting scammed. And the quality of meat was astonishing. Astonishingly bad. You'd find better quality meat at all-you-can-eat joints. Last but not least, the kbbq grills they used were your standard portable grills which you have at home. You won't get that nice smokey charcoal grilled meats here.

Will never return here again. I highly recommend going...

Average should be 4.5 but I will give their bbq 5 stars. Unfortunately I didn’t get normal dishes like fiskcake or potatoes one, was kind of upset because I can’t finish two portions with one meal. As I said, fresh pork belly and beef rib were amazing with their sauce and bbq sidedishes. Beef ribs were with sweet sauce, very juicy and delicious. Best with beer. Rice was cooked excellent, I would say five stars and rarely find this good one. All food was fresh and good. I personally didn’t like cucumbers but I didn’t try some and it didn’t ruin my mood. Kimchi was delicious without complex favorites with. Definitely will go back and recommend to everyone...
