I ordered from here for the first time today and was genuinely impressed from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and friendly — it instantly gave off the kind of homely vibe you only get from places that take real pride in their food and service.
We went with the rice and curry combos and chose both the chicken and fish curries. Honestly, every single dish exceeded expectations. The chicken curry was rich, tender, and full of flavour, while the fish curry had that perfect balance of spice and tang — clearly made with fresh ingredients and a lot of care. What stood out even more were the vegetarian sides — the daal was creamy and comforting, the eggplant had that signature smoky depth you only get in proper Sri Lankan kitchens, and everything was seasoned to perfection.
The portions were generous, and the presentation was simple yet authentic, just like you’d get back in Sri Lanka. It’s hard to find places that strike the perfect balance between authenticity and taste, but this place nails it.

Read moreAbsolutely love this place the food is delicious. I am a regular customer. The flavours are so authentic and there’s so much love put into the food and the service is so welcoming. It’s all home-made from scratch. I always recommend people to go here especially if you want really authentic Sri Lankan food. There’s a beautiful lady in the kitchen that cooks everything from scratch, including making her own spices everything is done by hand and she also greets you and takes your orders she’s so welcoming and she’s the sweetest ,precious most beautiful soul ever. And her son helps out after school sometimes / on weekends and he is the most polite well mannered gentlemen that will help take orders and serve food. And it’s honestly not that expensive price wise considering everything is made from scratch and really authentic. Highly recommend. By the way I had the coconut fish curry which is in this photo and I also had some curry puffs and some samosas with some plain rice. And traditional Sri Lankan tea it was all delicious and perfect on a winter night.
PS, my brothers love this place as well and they have come a...
Read moreWe had high hopes for this place, but sadly it didn’t live up to expectations. After spending three weeks in Sri Lanka and falling in love with the food, I was excited to come across this place and give it a try, but unfortunately it fell flat.
We tried to be understanding that they were very short staffed, however our food took 1hr 20min to arrive to our table of four, which just simply isn’t good enough and really put a dampener on our evening. Although the staff were nice ladies, it just took way too long.
When the food finally arrived, I found it pretty average and not worth the wait. The meat wasn’t the best quality, with lots of bones, and the flavours didn’t come as close as to what I’d enjoyed in Sri Lanka. It’s disappointing, as I hoped this would be a little gem worth...
