Chargrill Charlie's Mosman — Restaurant in Sydney

I love coming here, both for the food and the staff. These folk serve generous portions (I'm talking full bags of hot chips, salad boxes almost full to bursting) of delicious food and decent prices. My partner and I come by at least once a week to get a Family Pack (which lasts for 1-3 meals depending on how much we want to eat our feelings lol), and are never disappointed.

The team there is also amazing at making the customers feel appreciated and want to come back. Little things, like sometimes giving me an extra stamp on my reward card e.g. I spend $39, and the reward card says 1 stamp per $20. But they give me two because I am polite and friendly. This kind of business model is the best, rewarding those who treat you with respect and encourage positive attitudes and return business. Whoever runs this place should be proud of their team.

Only downside to the place is when you try to order delivery on some of the delivery apps, one in particular (rhymes with Goober). The prices can get inflated quite quickly. I'm talking a $39 family pack costing $46.90 + 'service' $4 + delivery fee $4.99-7.99, totalling min $55.90. Whoever runs the franchise should look into it, because I can cop a certain level of delivery charge, but $15 extra is too steep. So I tend to get pick up instead, which is fine for me but may be discouraging for other potential customers.

I had been recommended this chicken shop by a good friend, who raved about it, and now i can see why. Chargrill Charlie’s popped up on my instagram sharing some love. With shops all other the north side of the bridge, when i was in Manly, i had to stop by for lunch.

Like a newb i walked in to order, then realised there is a whole system going on here. You grab a number, then order then somehow they remember you and tell you when you order is ready.

This was my first time eating here. I thought this would be just another normal chicken stuff. However it is not.

First of all, the chicken and chips (half chicken) is just cheaper than all of the stuff i went.

Second of all, i thought the chicken would be dry and kinda hard to eat that's why i sat down and washed my hand and got lots of sauces but i was mistaken. It was so tender and soft. It just falls apart and i was using the plastic fork and knife but it just feels like its not plastic. That's how soft the chicken was.

Thirdly, the chips is so thin which is better than the thick ones. It was crispy.

Lastly it was so good. Just bones are left. Sauces are hardly touched bcs it wasn't needed that much. The sauce add some flavour for the chicken and chips.
