Have lovely pies an great customer services. Very friendly people. Glad there at my home town. My family love's there pies. From the trolley woman that always gives a tip. I think it's so cute some times they have there daughter working there. There is nothing wrong with that what so ever. Some people are just rude if it was a Ozzie little girl working there people wouldn't say anything. I always give the little girl a tip an she's so happy. She's a dear little girl. Why do some people have to be so nasty an negative for. Well I'm off there this morning. An get one of there yummy pies. Well my family is very happy no negative comments from us. Five star, excellent jam donut. Two star apple turnover (undercooked, insufficient apple filling). Four star cinnamon donut. Three star ginger slice; flavour pretty good, but kinda dry and cold.

Friendly service, excellent prices.

Seeing the other reviews, it appears that this is the sort of place where you have to know what to order and what to avoid. Perhaps Chelsea Cake Shop would do better if they reduced their (very wide) variety of products and focused on the things they do best.

We are locals and havent been there for a long time. I was a big fan of the Chelsea and used to love their chicken and mushroom pies but I went back recently and they have changed the recipe and are not as nice. Also the beesting was stale and the vanilla slice was all warped, cracked and dried out. The other problem was the woman who served me handled the money and the cakes with the same gloved hands.
