Coffee, Tea & Me — Restaurant in Sydney

Probably one of the best bagels I’ve had so far. This little coffee shop has been around for a long time. The ☕️ coffee is good, using coffee from Campos coffee roasters. They have a selection of 🥪 sandwiches, 🍰 cakes, 🥯 bagels and other 🥐🍪 bakeries on the shelf to select from as well. The bagel here is really thin (the thickness is more like a flag bread rather than bagel, but it tastes like a bagel 😂). They have various fillings including tuna melt, chicken, salmon and so on. I had the 🐔 chicken bagel with 🍅 tomato, 🥑 avocado and 🥬 lettuce - yes lettuce in a bagel, and it went surprisingly well! Definitely would love to come back again...

Lovely café, but I wouldn’t recommend it for matcha. I saw the barista pour the milk into the jug and then add the matcha powder directly into it, without any prior preparation (whisking). The result was a drink full of lumps, which was really unpleasant. On top of that, the matcha was stored in a plastic container, even though this powder quickly loses its quality when exposed to light. I haven’t tried their coffee so I can’t comment on that, but the way they prepare matcha definitely needs to change if they want to offer a...

I've been going here for years. Its' alway exceptional, from the really yummy bagels and muffins etc to the good strong coffee and always friendly and obliging gorgeous service by staffs. There are not many coffee shops that I find exceptional (there are dozens of fails around here) but this is one of them and I highly recommend a visit if you've not been there before.
