The waiter poisoned my friend.
We went here for a girls weekend, lovely atmosphere no other issues but a bit loud. After getting our drinks and having some dinner my friend goes quiet and starts touching help lip. She said she's just taken an antihistamine out of caution, she thinks there might of been something in the food. After a minute I noticed her drink has a massive layer of foam, I said "um is that egg whites? Being her allergy. I asked the waiter if the drink had egg in it, he goes away comes back 10 minutes later and says "they can make it without" I said "no, that's not what we asked, she's having an allergic relation, does this drink have egg whites?" After going away again for another few minutes and coming back he answers "Yes, the drink has egg whites" I said "its not listed on the menu that the drink has an common allergy ingredient" and the waiter said "But did you inform the waiter?" We said "No, because everything else on the ingredients was listed but not egg whites, why would you list everything but one of the most common allergens in the world" He tried to tell us that "ALL cocktails have egg and that we should of said" Now I don't really care what should of happened, I wasn't trying to have an argument since it wasn't a bad reaction and my friend had mostly dealt with it, lucky she comes prepared. But the attitude of this young waiter was not apologetic and really whoever he was relaying the information from every time he walked away and came back should of just came over and handled the situation instead of sending a junior who clearly didn't know what to do.
We just wanted to the drink taken away and swapped with another that my friend could drink, ended up taking another 30 minutes for that to happen even though it was just swapped for a basic vodka soda. At this point we didn't trust anything else on the menu, it really scared my friend and she was on edge the rest of the weekend since it very much could of gone the other way.
List EGG in your cocktails, and learn...

So i went here for valentines day 75 bucks a head 6 course meal and cocktails (the pictures with ice flowers in them) 4 people 300 tho i spent an extra 100 on fancy cocktails
My guest loved it The first 3 starters was a little salty for them but the rest they complimented
favourites Mine was the duck My other 3 guests loved the cod
The bar is a cocktails bar rough price is 22 dollars some cocktails are strong . (Mocktails 15 dollars) Others woody smokey and sweet flavours honestly the best experience was the flame drink . Its a drink they set on fire and do a little display at the table my guest loved it Definitely something to order to impress a date or guests
I was even in awe The flavour was good but took a while to cool down.. the smell was devine the burnt sugar caramelising extraordinary My wife didn't like the flavour as she excitedly wanted a sip when it was still a bit hot I loved it but it was strong i will upload a video but i can't attach it to this post The dead end .. was a dud for us.. we seen it at other tables the glass gun smoked but ours didn't seem to
As for service.. we arrived early they seated us gladly as they had space Nothing was ever a problem they helped with glasses of water and promptly cleaned tables when meal was ended
The lady atendee i forgot to ask her name made sure every table was clean Which made it seem really fresh enviroment
Our food wasn't rushed it came at a relaxed pace.
It felt like a date night type of bar
Would i go again... hell yes...i want to try more of the coctails.. if my wife...
Read moreI am writing to formally express my disappointment and concern regarding an incident of harassment that occurred during my recent visit to your establishment on Thursday the 21st of November 2024, around 9pm
My friend and I came to your bar to celebrate her birthday. We were greeted by the female member of your staff, from Canada. Super lovely and ensured that we had a cosy spot. We ordered cocktails. Half way through our night, from across the restaurant we were openly harassed at by two British men. They were loudly commenting on our bodies, making not only us, but everyone around us uncomfortable. I defused the situation and we decided to leave.
Upon paying for the drinks, I approached a male member of staff to tell them about the situation, to not only tell him how unsafe we felt, but to ensure this didn’t happen again to another woman. The male member of staff belatedly denied any of this happened as those to men appeared to be ‘gay boys, so they couldn’t have harassed you’.
As a customer, I expect your restaurant to be a welcoming and safe environment for all guests. Unfortunately, the lack of intervention gave the impression that women’s safety was not taken seriously in your establishment, which is both unacceptable and troubling.
I urge you to take this matter seriously and implement measures to prevent such incidents from occurring...
