This is a delightful little garden park in the centre of busy Elizabeth Bay. With a thriving fish pond, little waterfalls, manicured lawns and an abundance of trees. You get a sweeping view of the harbour if you stand up. Its always got people coming and going, but seems empty and quiet. The downside is you need to walk to Beare Park for toilets, or if you are mice they may let you use them at Elizabeth Bay House across the street. Parking is another bother, but its not too terrible a walk from Kings Cross station. That being said we were last there on Mothers Day and had no trouble getting a spot. If you are in the area it is a must see for a picnic, contemplative coffee or catch up with friends. Just remember BYO everything.

A nice park. A peaceful inner city retreat with plenty of green grass to lounge in the sun and shade covered park benches to escape the City heat. Manicured gardens with a fish pond up the top on the way down to beautiful Elizabeth Bay. On weekends the Kings Cross markets are just up the road, which makes the reserve a nice place to head to with a delicious lunch from the organic markets close by. Being Elizabeth Bay if you are a westy with rampaging children be prepared to count the hoity toity locals eye rolls.

Beautiful, peaceful corner of the neighbourhood with a view of the sea.. Decorated with a koi pond and elegant landscaping. Offered a nice shaded corner, with benches for seating dotted around the garden. 1 lady was sunbathing and 2 elderly gentlemen were taking a breather there when I arrived. A water fountain also provided some relief for another passerby on this hot day, as others stopped when they passed through to stop and take photos.. Perfect spot to take some solace in within the area~
