As a local to the area we were excited about having a fine dining restaurant within walking distance from home. The aesthetics of the restaurant is beautiful but that's where it ends. The restaurant is pretty much always empty, red flag for me. But when the restaurant is booked for a function, the music is through the roof. My husband and I ate there last Friday night and we won't be back, at least not for dinner. My pasta was oily and lacking any flavour. The seafood was practically non existent. I didn't eat it. Extremely disappointed. My husband had the lamb cutlets and for $48 was only offered fries. If you wanted salad or veggies that was another $22!!! Very over priced and under whelming. We weren't asked if we wanted dessert or coffee. Just felt like it was a bother and certainly hasn't lived up to the website advertising. We left the restaurant hungry and went across the road and got a pizza home which was absolutely yummy 😋 Music very inappropriate for dinner. Loud club music certainly didn't fit what the restaurant is trying to be. Shame because it could be a wonderful destination for the locals who...
Read moreRude service and fake information. We came from the Olympic Park because its information on Google showed it open till to 3pm. We arrived at nearly 2:10pm, there were many guests there at that time but no staff at the entrance. So we had to go directly to the bar and asked where can we seat. The staff was very rude, he just said “No, you can not order.” No sorry and no excuse, just said to me that I can’t order. I was still stand there and confused why I can’t order. The staff rudely raised his arm and tried to drive me out. I was freaked and just left. It happened months ago, today I searched restaurants nearby and saw this restaurant again, I still feel very uncomfortable about what I have suffered. I don’t know why I can’t get my orders and be driven away by your staff that day. Was I late? But you opens till 3pm and I arrived nearly 2pm. Or was I the only Asian guest that day?...
Read more3 tables on a Friday night should have been the first clue. $38 for a poor quality steak that one would expect from a supermarket. Ordered mid-rare, got close to well done with a "Demi-glacé" that was clearly prepared from a powder and a tiny portion of bland vegetables. Partner ordered a $27 pizza that was soggy from the excessive oil leeching out of the dull cheese and was generally flavourless. Oh, almost forgot the $15 kids frozen nuggets my son had. Clearly a restaurant that's given up and cutting costs while keeping city prices, hoping they can turn it around. They won't. Locals and...
