Cowboy Thai Dee Why Restaurant — Restaurant in Sydney

We ordered all dishes with prawn. When the dishes come out, it was all pork and no prawn. I informed the restaurant and they took away the pork dishes, the "new" dishes come with prawn that were utterly tasteless and flavourless.

I found a piece of pork in one of the dishes and put two and two together : when they took away the pork dishes, they just manually removed the pork from all dishes, heated some prawns and put these prawns onto the existing dishes... Which explains why the prawns were tasteless and flavourless. The piece of pork that I found had more flavour than all the prawns.

Don't recommend, will never...

I am a total slacker in this review - didn't dine in and had my meal home delivered, didn't even take pics. But it was so damned good it deserved a mention. It came through Menulog and it arrived in about 35mins - very quick for the area. The fish cakes were better than the usual, the BBQ Chicken Satay sticks were divine and the Pad Thai was AOK. Can't comment on anything else - the food was good and as a food pig, for me, its all about the food. I need to make a date to actually visit the restaurant now. I will definitely be...

Great interior I love that old skool Thailand cowboy vibe totally get it would have been great to see some wagon wheel furniture. Lovely people but unfortunately the food was lacking. Gristly meat and blandish curry with no chilli punches. Thai food for falung. The pad Thai came out all smelling burnt with bits of black wok mixed through it. Inedible. Sent it back only to made feel like a difficult customer. Please gets some authentic chefs onboard you guys are...
