Crust Pizza Fairfield — Restaurant in Sydney

Is this place a joke? I thought they were pranking me, just look at the picture, what I ordered vs what I got. Not to mention I ordered Vanilla Coke & they gave me Coke Zero. Like what, are they blind or purposely being like this? Two whole chillis plonked ontop? I'm laughing now and how stupid this is. Now, i'm gonna take this review back to Dec 2023, the last I ordered from there and was highly disappointed with cold, crappy pizza when the delivery driver took forever, and the pizza made my mother sick on her birthday. So I complained & the manager offered me free pizza if I agreed to not write a google review. So I reluctantly caved in, but never went back for the free pizza - I mean that's not even worth it! Fast forward to Jan 2025 I decided I'll give it another go, surely they've improved in that time, but alas instead they've gotten worse. I even called before they made my order to ensure they do it right this time and she said sure! What they sent me is an absolute joke! Taking this matter further with Crust Pizza. About time this place is held accountable because I think they're cutting corners trying to make extra profit at the expense of their paying customers & Crust's reputation. If there was an option for zero stars, this place would get it. I ordered 3 extra-large peri peri pizzas and 1 large peri peri pizza — all without the peri peri sauce they’re supposed to have. When I pointed it out, they had the audacity to ask me to pay extra for it! This is not just disappointing, it’s dishonest. You’ve lost a customer for good.

Reply to the Owner: Let’s set the record straight — the pizzas DID have only a tiny drizzle of peri-peri sauce, but nowhere near what’s advertised or expected. Calling that “peri-peri pizza” is misleading. Customers aren’t paying extra for plain pizza with just a faint touch of sauce.

Instead of admitting that your pizzas were skimped on sauce, you’re trying to spin the story and accuse me of demanding “unlimited extras.” That’s false and unfair. What I expected was a proper peri-peri pizza, not one with barely any sauce.

I tried to hold off writing this review as I know this is a new business that has just opened however constructive criticism is also a good thing so people can get on top of the issues that are affecting their business. I was excited to try this business as I am a regular at another crust and this shop happens to be local to me and I always get the same pizza so I’m aware of what’s meant to be on the pizza and how generally it looks. Each slice was inconsistent with toppings and how cooked it was also it was missing a couple ingredients that is meant to regularly be on that pizza that I ordered. Also the lemon that they added with my pizza (I was that amused I took a picture) I don’t know what that’s meant to do but it’s literally one drop a lemon in that.
