Review of Domino’s Pizza – Caringbah
Located conveniently in the heart of the Sutherland Shire, Domino’s Caringbah delivers a consistently reliable fast-food experience that blends efficiency, value, and familiarity. As a popular outlet in the Domino’s franchise network, the Caringbah store caters well to the needs of a diverse local demographic—from busy families and students to office workers and late-night snackers.
One of the standout features of this store is its speed and convenience. Orders placed via the Domino’s app or website are typically ready within 10 to 15 minutes, and delivery times are among the fastest in the area. The staff manage high-volume orders during peak times with commendable organisation and customer service. Phone service is responsive, and in-person staff are usually polite, efficient, and willing to accommodate customisation requests.
In terms of food quality, the Caringbah outlet generally maintains the standard Domino’s recipe and presentation. The pizzas arrive hot, toppings are evenly distributed, and base options (from classic to deep pan and gluten-free) are reliably prepared. Specialty ranges like the Loaded Meatlovers or Vegan Avocado Veg often meet expectations, and seasonal items are rotated in with fair consistency. Sides such as the Cheesy Garlic Bread and Choc Lava Cake remain popular and are usually well-cooked, though occasionally the portion sizes vary slightly.
Value-wise, Domino’s Caringbah offers regular deals and bundles, which make it one of the more cost-effective choices for takeaway in the area. Their large pizzas under $10 (with app-exclusive deals) are particularly popular among students and budget-conscious customers. The value proposition is enhanced by the loyalty program and frequent promotional codes offered through digital platforms.
Cleanliness and store presentation are decent, although the small pick-up area can get crowded during peak hours. Seating is minimal, as expected from a delivery-focused outlet, but the counter and waiting area are usually clean and functional. Parking is generally accessible, with spots available nearby, especially during evening hours.
If there is any notable area for improvement, it would be consistency during very busy times—such as Friday and Saturday nights—when quality control occasionally slips. For instance, pizzas can sometimes be slightly undercooked, or missing a topping when staff are rushed. However, complaints are typically handled well, with prompt replacements or credit vouchers provided when issues are raised.
Overall, Domino’s Caringbah is a reliable, efficient, and well-run location that meets the expectations of a major fast-food brand. While it may not offer artisanal pizza or gourmet flair, it excels in affordability, speed, and convenience—key traits that explain its popularity within the local community. For quick meals, family dinners, or casual social gatherings, it remains a solid choice in the area.

Read moreOrdered tonight on the app for delivery. I was tracking the driver and they were on the street behind, and the app told me the order was delivered. Checked outside, no order. Rang the restaurant, told me that it was being delivered and the order wasn’t complete, despite what the app said. I’m sick at the moment with an infection (I said I was sick in the order notes) and chose contactless due to this. Pizza’s delivered, wrong order entirely. (And still rung the doorbell, despite contactless) Bring it inside, call the restaurant again and told them about the issue. Then I get another ring at the doorbell and it’s the delivery driver with my actual order. (Which looked like it had been run over by a train, and I had to actually answer the door and speak to him) The driver asked for the wrong pizza order back, which I think was disgusting, considering he more than likely read the delivery notes as I was sick. The lady on the phone checked with her manager and told me to hand the pizza over to be delivered to the correct house! So foul. If I was that person and didn’t know that my pizza order had been in another persons house and opened by someone who was sick, I’d be appalled. Literally the worst experience ever, don’t even bother wasting your time ordering from here. (And sorry to the poor person who received...
Read moreFrom order to delivery over 2 hours, and still waiting. App kept saying pizza ready in store then changing to being delivered then changing again to ready in store. Rang store 1 hour and 10 minutes after ordering to find out where pizza was. I was told it is out for delivery. Half an hour later, still no pizza. Rang store again, this time told it is definitely out being delivered. Half an hour after the 2nd call, still no pizza. Maybe they are waiting to deliver next week......or year. I bet it turns up cold.
Update after waiting 3.5 hours and multiple attempts to contact store, but no answer, I drove to store. Only 3 guys in there working, disgraceful on such a busy night. I asked them to ring delivery guy and find out where my pizza was, the young guy did to his credit. The delivery guy said it had been delivered. I told them again it hadn't been. Asked for refund. When I arrived home no pizza anywhere, even checked with my neighbours. Four hours later still no delivery, so pleased I received a refund. Disgusting service by the franchisee. Employ more people and get people who do deliver...
