We have ordered 5 times in total, we’ve received a satisfactory order only twice. The first time was good, with fast service, and a correct order. The second was okay, took a while despite not being peak time.
Third time the pizza order was incorrect, we attempted to call to rectify, but the line was busy. We figured it was just a busy time so we ate the pizza and didn’t bother.
The fourth time we ordered the ‘extra large’ option for an additional $3, but received a pizza that only filled a quarter of the box. This was disappointing so I kept calling until I got an answer. When trying to explain the issue, the person on the other end replied “I don’t understand what’s wrong!” So we went over it again. Still no understanding.
So I moved over to the customer service on Facebook, sent my receipt and photos of the disappointing pizza, and their response was “We agree! That is not of Dominos quality!” A voucher was given and I was on my way.
The fifth time was a few days later. I order online, apply the voucher, and went to check out for my free pizza. However, despite the pizza costing more than $23, I am unable to get the pizza as it did not meet the minimum order value of $23. I work out that it’s because my total is $0.
So I go ahead and load up $23 worth of things to get my replacement pizza. The driver ignored the additional instructions, turns up late, and when I receive my pizza it’s tiny again!
I’m not sure what changed between my first two visits, but orders have not been checked for quality and consistency. I don’t expect premium pizza, but I do expect the correct order, or compensation which doesn’t require me to put more money in.
Would highly recommend Pymble Pizza, Pasta and Ribs instead. Faster delivery with higher quality ingredients, no incorrect orders yet, and their delivery workers find the apartment with no...
Read moreOn Friday, 10 Nov, 2023. I came into the store to pick up my pizzas. I had a youngster, apparently the manager called Ash. Aaaah and yes me (Abrupt and No manner from the young "manager". I then again informed him what my name was and I needed to pay for my pizzas. He asked me to pay. I asked him what was the total value and showed him I had my debit card. He denoted the amount. I then got a receipt on the counter and a abrupt "Yes". Does he understand he is at work and not at home with his family. I then left the store of the mind to never return as a disrespectful individual providing such service cannot be rewarded. I noted later at home that the total amount he had mentioned had a surcharge as I have the receipt and the card pos receipt. So when asked he could not even accurately and honestly give me the final total out of pocket. Hence a total means just that unless qualified. I called about a hour later and the young lady on site said she cannot pass the phone to Ash. Who I heard shouting (recognised his voice) in the back ground at staff as I heard what he was shouting at the staff on site. As I asked the young lady to pass the phone to Ash. Seems Ash needs to pull his head in and calm down. Further Labour law and professionalism does not allow such behaviour especially in a business open to receive the clients coming in store. A circus and the main player is the "manager". The Franchise holder and on site ownership needs to look into the behaviour of this Ash. It was strange that the young lady was quite intimidated that she refused outright to get involved or pass the phone...
Read moreIf I could give zero for food, service and atmosphere. I wouldn’t wish the service from this place on my worst enemy. I ordered food at 11:23PM to which the restaurant accepted my order. I received messages saying my food was in the oven, and that it was on its way, to the extent that I was given an estimated delivery time. Seemingly all going to plan, I headed out the front of my house at the time I was told my order would arrive and to my surprise there was no food. In my shock I checked my phone to see if there were any messages, and it turned out that I had missed two phone calls from an anonymous number. Given the late time I had my phone on silent so that it wouldn’t buzz and wake any of my family up. As I sat in my bed and watched a movie I watched as the time ticked past 12:00 (the closing time of the restaurant), which was the point I knew that my order was never coming. Now not only was I hungry, but I had also been robbed of $28.00. This experience is one of the worst I have ever had with dominoes Gordon, despite having multiple bad experiences with this place. I can’t believe that I continue to give this place my business. Leaving a review on their website, I was promised a refund, however surprise surprise I have had zero communication as to when or how I can get my refund. If you are reading this review, I would recommend that you do not allow this place to take your money, because for all you know your order might never come and you will end up without at a loss with no pizzas...
