When ordering vegan pizza online couldn't change the type of base. Called the penshurst store to place order only to be quoted an extra $20. Questioned why there was a price difference (already specified it was a pickup) then was quoted $10 more instead of the $20. I questioned again why the price difference to which their answer was that was the best they could do as per their system and the price wasn't going any lower. Advised them I couldn't change the base of the vegan pizza online hence wanting to order over the phone but couldn't agree on the price as quoted online. The staff member advised I was able to select a different base for the vegan pizza as this had been done many times by other customers (as she had said) and I told her I was aware I could change it for normal pizzas but couldn't for the vegan pizzas (no option online). She kept saying I could and there was nothing she could do for me re price over ordering over the phone and best to order online if I wasn't happy with the price. I checked on Facebook reviews about vegan pizzas and saw that other customers had the same problem with ordering vegan pizzas online in that they couldn't change the base and Dominos has advised this. Some staff probably need more training in their systems and customer service as they lack the basic skills. They should probably know their online system too before giving out false information. Disappointing experience. Sticking to Crust pizza for vegan pizzas as they actually provide a great service and make a better pizza and are generous with their toppings. I had an amazing experience with Domino's Pizza recently, and I want to share how great their customer service was. From the moment I ordered to when my pizza arrived, everything was handled really well.
Ordering online was super easy. Their website is simple to use, and I could choose exactly what I wanted on my pizza without any problems. They have lots of toppings and different crusts, so it was easy to please everyone in my family.
What really stood out was how helpful Domino's customer service team was. When I called to check on my order, the person I spoke to was really nice and gave me all the right information. They made sure my pizza got to me on time, and it was still hot and just how I asked for it.

Hungry and tired and when I ordered pizza from 4 blocks away(Nelson street) @ 9:45pm the order went through, money gone from card but the food never came. Next day(11th april) on the phone with store manager says your order might be cancelled I can’t do anything, everything is controlled by head office. I didn’t get any email/phone call saying your order is cancelled. I asked him if i can get the same order delivered, but he refused and said i have to wait for refund . I have worked on hospitality industry for long time. In these sort of situations anyone would offer some complementary food or drinks, instead i was not even able to get the food which i paid for the other day.I would like to address this comment to the owner of the store and the store manager/staff who was responsible with my order(10/04/23) 9:51 pm.
