My husband and I are pensioners, recovering from recent broken bones and hospitalisations. Yesterday, while watching television, I saw an ad for Domino's. Yay! Six dollars at Dominos for LARGE Pizzas...Special Tuesday! Only on Tuesdays!! As we've been struggling with meals and I haven't been out of the house for several weeks while I heal, we thought that for a treat, we'd buy a $6.00 pizza. We looked on a Dominos site, directly connected to the Large $6.00 special and chose two different flavours. As the special was only for pickup, my husband went to Domino's in Seven Hills! He was confronted by an arrogant, rude, worker who argued that he couldn't have the two we chose as they were more expensive....after arguing for almost ten minutes, my husband relented and ended up paying an EXTRA $4.00 per pizza, as a line of potential, unsuspecting customers built up behind him! Okay...perhaps Domino's has rules...but surely...when there is a specific advertisement encouraging people to partake of this fabulous opportunity that consideration needs to be given to the facts and/or details. As for the Domino's worker, this is not the first time he's shown his arrogant, unyielding side and is really doing a disservice to the company, rather than saving it from financial collapse..... particularly as we...aged pensioners will...

Upon arriving at the store, my husband requested that the cheese pizza be extra cooked, as it was intended for our child. However, the staff member Shivi (Indian female) attending to us refused this request, stating that such accommodations were only made for store employees and not for customers.
Additionally, we observed that the same cutter used for other pizzas, including those with meat, was used for our vegetarian order. Being vegetarians, we asked if a separate knife had been used. Shivi’s response was dismissive, aggressive, raised her voice, accused us of being demanding, and even suggested that we leave the store.

Read moreI ordered a lava cake and thick shake from Domino’s Seven Hills and was given a pick-up time. When my partner asked a staff member about the delay (as the time on the screen hadn’t changed), we were told it would be “5 minutes.” We had already waited 20 minutes at this point.
Five minutes passed—still nothing. The screen continued to say 5 minutes while other orders were updating and moving along. After waiting 25 minutes total, I asked the staff member directly when my order would be ready, and all he could say was “it’s being made” and then told me to “chill out.”
This kind of response is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. I was left standing there frustrated, ignored, and with no clear update. In the end, I asked for a refund because the wait time and the way I was spoken to were completely unacceptable.
