Coffee tastes like mud and they took over 20min to make a simple takeaway banana bread. Absolutely hopeless. By the time my food arrived my coffee was cold. I declined a bag and told them I’d waited long enough. Apparently politely declining a bag and then saying it’s been along wait with no apology is rude!
Learn to train your staff to serve food ina competent manor, serve your take away food and coffee at the same time. Train your food staff to competently put together what is a very simple order. Croque masseur was even cold in the middle.
You were not busy, there was about as many people in the cafe as there was staff.
Check your video mate, I did not swear at your staff and did wait at least 20mins. Try improving your service and quality of your coffee. The mud taste clearly sign of your coffee freshness and using old beans.

Barista pulled me a double shot in about 10 seconds, maybe less, that barely was a single. Station was an absolute mess, drip tray was leaking water and coffee grounds were just everywhere. Dosing and tamping was pretty careless in my opinion and they didn’t understand the difference between a blend and a single origin, in fact they tried to tell me their single origin is a blend?
When I asked if they were aiming for 8-10 second pulls the barista said no 20-30 and sighed before passive aggressively offering to remake my coffee. She then went on to lecture me about how she needed to dial the coffee in each day.
Well why didn’t you do that before serving it?
Refund was an unpleasant experience as well but this is already too long and negative.
Apparently the coffee is from their own farm estate? If that’s true the owners of Don Adan have an emergency on their hands and don’t know it...
Read morePassed through here with a group of recently made friends, and thoroughly enjoyed the coffee - so much so I bought another. Food was presented amazingly, and the service was above and beyond.
I have to admit I will always have a soft spot for a Latin atmosphere. It seems like a good family and group that run it, and really hope to return again! (Hopefully with more Spanish...
