Scoop Wholefoods — Local services in Sydney

I will start by saying that a lovely family own this business. I have been shopping at Sccop for the past 5 years & would previously have given it 5 stars. Bettina & the girls are lovely, I remember speaking to Daisy asking advice on something & she was sharing her excitement about their upcoming opening at Orange.. From that conversation I could feel the heart, love & passion behind & in the business. It is also important to point out that the quality & variety of the products are exceptional. My 2 stars are based on the current customer service, which has been that way for the past year or so.. Service used to be very friendly & helpful when the family were there but now it seems non existent to the point where it is uncomfortable for the consumer. I actually don't like going in any more because of this reason, it is quite a cold & frosty atmosphere where it was once a warm & welcoming. A staff member that has been there for a few years & established in her own health business I am most surprised by. When approaching the register to pay, I always smile & say hello, the most I get is a smile & at the end of calculating my products "do you need a bag, receipt" & that's it, it feels like there is a resentment for having to serve customers. There is no longer any assistance or care. I find this very sad & something that needs to be addressed with the staff as I am sure it is affecting business. I have had other people approach me complaining about the same issue & so they are shopping elsewhere, which I have to admit I mostly do now as well. Shopping at scoop is usually close to $200, which leaves a bad taste with consumers when the service is not there. All that is needed is for staff to smile, ask how people are going, do they need any help with anything. The love needs to be brought back for Scoop to...

Was very excited to try this shop today. Staff were extremely unfriendly, my young daughter was met by an abusive staff member who yelled at her from the counter and subsequently she burst into tears. My daughter had opened one of the bins, it would have been much more proactive to call this to my attention as there was only one other person in the shop and two staff members. When I went to retrieve the scoop that had fallen on the floor I was met with an equally unfriendly staff member who grabbed the scoop and walked off. I will be keeping my business at Source in Crowsnest where they are friendly...

I agree with the post by Kristen O"sullivan earlier. Shopped today and the staff were loudly discussing their holiday arrangements, Sri Lanka in particular. One of them (Lilian?)finally served me but not before loudly taking issue with me about handling my soon to be purchased food. I left leaving the goods on the counter and will not be returning... whilst she is serving customers. Its a shame as the shop has good products (although, nothing is unique to the store and all can be purchased nearby as I discovered) and the owners are politeness themselves. They should...
