Visited Dragon Bowl with a group of friends for a Sunday night meal. Definitely oversold by friend who may have been blinded by the fact the staff are nice to him. Overall the food wasn’t bad, but wasn’t as great as it had been claimed. The xo pippies were very underwhelming, vermicelli portion was bad and wasn’t cooked very well, or was just cooked much earlier on and then served to us. Can’t say I was a huge fan of the salted egg crab either, was ok, but definitely had better. Fried rice and the tofu dish were good and had a decent serving of those dishes. Veggies were a standout, cooked perfectly with the right amount of sauce and the barramundi was cooked well too, with the meat soft and tender. The abalone dish was a huge let down, felt it was more calamari than abalone, not a great dish at all. Shangdong chicken was also a big let down, we usually always order this dish when we eat at Chinese restaurants, this doesn’t rank too high. Overall a decent restaurant and worth a visit if you can pick and choose the right dishes, we probably need to improve in that area because some of the dishes are hit and miss.

Dragon Bowl is one of our go-to restaurants for big gatherings and special celebrations. I had never experienced any drop in standard of tastiness of food in my years of frequenting the restaurant. We always go for the seafood. Never miss their two-courses of lobster: sashimi style & Asian style - in noodles fried with ginger and shallots. The Peking Duck is always good, too. For the second course, I sometimes ask for fried rice (when there are kids) instead of the sang choy bao. Our top favourites are the XO oyster with vermicelli and seafood spring roll. The wasabi beef is good, too. We always leave overly full, but deeply satisfied. I've also always liked their service. For Asian restaurant, I don't expect much in terms of service. But every one of my interaction with this restaurant, they always try their best to accommodate and were never rude about it. Even when we have one of the private rooms, they were always checking on us when they have the chance. And no, I'm not in any way affiliated with them. Although, I think I deserve a VIP card for this restaurant.😬

This is my families local go-to Chinese restaurant. Been here for years - not because we know the restaurant owner, but because they genuinely create delicious and flavourful dishes and consistently too. The seafood is often fresh and moderately priced at various sizes. Live lobsters and fishes often packs a punch, containing a good amount of meaty flesh. Food wait time is decently fair and waiter/waitress service is friendly. Just make sure you recheck your order or be specific so that they understand what dishes you're after. Multilevel. Toilets available upstairs. Eftpos with 2% surcharge. Drinks and BYO allowed (unless their policies have changed recently). They also serve complementary broth soup, fruit serve as well as a special dessert of the day (biscuit, red bean soup, pandan jelly, etc).

Been gone to this restaurant for several years But I must admit, I was absolutely devastated tonight The service was horrible When I first arrived, they normally put complementary tea so I was checking my Glass and it was dirty I asked the woman waiter to change The Glass she took them but never returned clean ones my partner had to get off the table and go to one empty table and remove the glasses of that table for us to have tea we ordered crispy skin chicken combination noodles and braised battened sweet-and-sour prawns Received the food the prawns were way overcooked that you could taste the burn taste in your mouth I told the male waiter about it he just brushed it off and didn’t care we were never treated this way with the previous owner David me and my family were always treated with respect and the food was absolutely fantastic but as I said tonight was an absolute disaster with the service and the disappointment and the rudeness of the female waiter me and my family will never attend that...
