Ladies and gentlemen,
Today, I address an issue that has, unfortunately, become all too familiar: the unwelcome presence of not one, not two, but three hairs in my beloved bowl of pho. This is not merely a trivial inconvenience; it is a matter that touches upon the very standards of hygiene and respect in our culinary experiences.
The Impact of Hair Contamination
Discovering multiple hairs in our food is more than just unappetizing; it raises serious concerns about the cleanliness and practices within food establishments. Such incidents can erode trust between patrons and those who prepare and serve our meals.
Preventative Measures
To prevent such occurrences, several effective strategies can be implemented:
Proper Hair Restraints: Wearing appropriate hair coverings, such as hairnets, caps, or hats, is essential. These restraints help keep hair from falling into food and also discourage employees from touching their hair, which can lead to contamination.
Securing Long Hair: For individuals with long hair, styles like buns or braids can effectively keep hair contained. Using hairpins or clips can further secure any loose strands.
Facial Hair Coverage: It's important to cover facial hair as well. Utilizing beard nets or similar restraints ensures that beard and mustache hairs do not contaminate food.
Employee Training: Regular training on hygiene practices, including the importance of wearing hair restraints and maintaining personal cleanliness, is crucial. Employees should be reminded to avoid touching their hair and to wash their hands thoroughly if they do.
Regular Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintaining a clean work environment, including regular cleaning of equipment and workspaces, helps minimize the risk of hair and other contaminants finding their way into food.
A Call to Action
As patrons, we have the right to expect that the food we consume is prepared under stringent hygiene standards. It is incumbent upon food establishments to implement these preventative measures...
Read moreWe ordered fried rice, marinated beef on hot plate, spring rolls, braised prawns with veggies, tamarind mud crabs, a passion fruit smoothie and strawberry smoothie, firstly we got the drinks, the strawberry was average as for the passion fruit had more orange juice than passion fruit, then the beef was quite good then was served 25 minutes later with the crabs, the prawns and the rice then the spring rolls, the rice was dry with no flavour, the prawns had hardly any taste as for the main dish the mud crabs had beautiful flavour but very small crabs ( 7+ claws in a 2kg mud crabs??) wasn’t cleaned and had crab eggs everywhere in most parts and throughout the sauce, the entire dinner cost us $320 and I would say if I reviewed it in one word it’s disgusting, not a good service when you get beef first ( not spring rolls or rice) and 25 minutes later the other dishes and extremely bad tasteless food, I will never go there again and I still have the containers with the leftovers ( just waiting for NSW fisheries to inspect it because it’s illegal to keep crabs with eggs let alone serve it in a restaurant) I wouldn’t advise of going there if you’re not Vietnamese because service to non Vietnamese is as if you are below them,...
Read morenice broken rice with pork chop, even though I had better at Thanh Mai in Canley heights.
my dad had crispy chicken with noodles....other restaurants usually serve noodles at same time when the crispy chicken is ready. What my dad had the crispy chicken came out first and waited another 5-7 minutes for the noodle in soup. And when both dishes came out, it became very small portions too.
my mum had the thick noodles soup with some fish or shrimp cake stuff in a reddish soup. Forgot what the dish was called but it was ok.
ban xeo was crispy. But lacks in flavour.
table set ups were cramped. The smaller tables along the wall towards the restrooms are absolutely cramped. Giving customers an Uncomfortable dining experience. Which ruins the dine -in atmosphere. Tables should be spaced out.
staffs could provide a better service. As me and my parents went in, we felt very unwelcome. No greetings from the staffs either. Management should look into this how to provide a better customer service.
overall result: better eat elsewhere. Not worth the price at Bach Dang. And not...
