Elements Espresso Bar — Restaurant in Sydney

My family and I had at dinner at this restaurant on the evening of July 5th.

We ordered steak frites for the children, requesting them to be cooked medium. Unfortunately, one of the steaks was served raw, not rare, but raw, we asked it to be sent back to the kitchen to be refried. When it returned correctly cooked, our T-bone steak (which my wife and I intended to share) arrived, but it too was raw over much of the steak and had to be returned to the kitchen.

Additionally, the Caesar salad was overdressed to the point of being inedible. This added to the overall disappointment of our meal. Normally, I would move on from such an experience and choose not to return, but I want to share how unpleasant it was due to the poor handling of our concerns by a staff member.

Upon paying the bill, I noticed we were double charged for a sauce which was supposedly included in the cost of the steak frites. When I pointed this out to the staff member she dismissed my concern, stating that she "feels like it was provided" and that the computer system could not be changed. In an effort to end this unpleasant experience, I paid the full bill of $420.00.

To my surprise, the staff member then began to argue, insisting that the steaks were cooked medium and that I was mistaken. I assured her that the steaks were indeed raw, and it was evident that the chef had little experience cooking thicker cuts like a 1kg T-bone. The steak was fired on a grille that was too hot, resulting in the bone side remaining undercooked. Despite having paid the full amount, she continued to argue, which I found highly unprofessional and unnecessary.

In summary, this was an overall disappointing experience for my family and me, and we will not be returning to dine at...

I was extremely disappointed with the service at Elements Bar and Grill Belmore. Despite their advertised closing time of 10:00 pm, I arrived at 8:20 pm after finishing work.

I prefer to order slowly, starting with a wine and enjoying the atmosphere. However, by 8:30 pm, I was informed that the kitchen was closing and all orders needed to be placed by that time. The manager explained that this was company policy, but it would be helpful if this policy were clearly communicated in advance.

This experience left me feeling rushed and stressed. For the premium prices, I expected a much better experience.

Positives: The restaurant's decor is impressive. The background music was pleasant.

However, due to the way I was treated, I will not be returning. My advice to Elements is to align their advertised closing time with their actual operating hours and ensure that customers are aware of any restrictions...

Great place for their morning coffee deal, it's a dream!!! Any size and variation, only $4!! Usually really good quality, depends on the Barista. SUPER friendly staff. I'm becoming more of a regular now, so we'll see.

Brought my family along for brunch, and a dinner previously. Their meat has lacked a bit of flavour/seasoning, usually needing sauce, but we try to avoid sauce when we can, so that we can enjoy a well seasoned meat. Also, their mince has improved a bit, still a bit mushy, so my kids, who usually downs a Bolognase quick, couldn't take it. The pasta sauce was flavoured nicely, ⁿ though. Everything else is cooked beautifully!

Price can vary.

So far, our server, Nilam, has been consistently excellent...
