Memorable!
First go with our young family to celebrate anniversary. We arrived earlier than 7pm reservation but were seated right away next to the kiddie nook (wall mounted tv, chalkboard, pillows - as requested in online booking). Felt like 10 mins before host came back after being greeted at the door/given the menu but only actually exactly 7pm. It gave us enough time to settle and browse through food options.
Atmosphere had a modern, relaxed, and family oriented vibe with a comprehensive yet simply presented, unpretentious menu. I must admit that I was a bit nervous since my critical 9yo boy was insisting on a menu with burger/ribs. But then realised that since it was Dad & Mum's night, he gave in "as long as the food is good"!
Tried their entree - garlic herb bread (soft/yum!), salt & pepper calamari (perfect), pork belly (tender & enjoyable but with room for improvement on flavour), kiddie - fish & chips (gladly grilled), pasta - gnocchi mare monte (top marks - prawns, avocado, cream, napolitana sauce), pizza - polpette (love! - homemade meatballs, cherry tomatoes, parmesan, oregano), desserts - tiramisu, vanilla panna cotta (kids raving about it - with mixed berry coulis, gelato).
Our little bunch of critics loved them all! My personal favourite was the surprising gnocchi, tasty wood fired popette and refreshing panna cotta.
We interacted with about 4 staff who were all warm, gracious, and accommodating. It was a full house on a Tuesday night but staff tried their best to look after our needs/wants.
Agree with Eddie B's review here that kiddie area is enabling....we got to enjoy our meal and extend our stay too! Our littlest one asked if we can go again the next day (nearly finished Trolls movie while playing with big brother). A couple of tables sacrificed to give way to this kiddie corner is just brilliant/priceless.
Local Italian gem with ample parking away from busy Parramatta/Hills food districts. Thank you Enzo’s Cucina for a great family...

I had high hopes for Enzo’s Cucina Northmead, but unfortunately, the experience left a sour taste—before we even had a chance to dine. We had a First Table reservation and were running a little late due to unavoidable circumstances. When we called ahead to advise of our delay, we were met with zero flexibility and a dismissive tone from Andrew, who claimed to be the manager.
I’ve dined at many far more prestigious establishments in the Sydney CBD, and even at peak times, they have shown grace and understanding when guests are slightly behind schedule. It’s called hospitality. Unfortunately, Andrew chose to rigidly hide behind the “terms and conditions” instead of applying a little common sense and customer care—especially on a quiet Wednesday evening when the restaurant was clearly not at capacity.
What was most disappointing was the lack of professionalism and courtesy. Rather than seeking a reasonable solution or extending even the smallest gesture of goodwill, Andrew was abrupt, dismissive, and unapologetically rude. A simple “We’ll see what we can do” or “We’ll hold your table for a short while” would have been the classy response.
Restaurants should understand that building customer loyalty is about how you handle the difficult moments, not just when everything goes smoothly. The attitude we encountered tonight suggests that customer experience is not a priority here.
We won’t be returning, nor would I recommend Enzo’s Cucina Northmead to friends or family when there are so many other venues in Sydney that know how to balance policy with genuine hospitality....
Read moreI've often visited Enzo's with a dear friend as it is one of our favourite restaurants for our catch-ups. The food is exceptional and we always leave feeling really satisfied with our night. Recently, I ordered takeaway through an online delivery platform. I placed two orders for two different addresses (due to ordering food for my hubby and ordering food for myself and mother, whom I was visiting). The orders were accidentally mixed up on delivery, however, every staff member I spoke to worked tirelessly to try and solve this issue. They were all extremely professional, apologetic, and kind, despite this being an honest mistake. To top it all off, because we had waited a little while for our order, Andrew, the manager, took it upon himself to make sure the kitchen re-fired our food and even delivered it himself personally with the utmost care, respect and professionalism. It goes without saying that the food was exceptional, but what sets Enzo's at Northmead apart from other restaurants is their complete commitment to providing the highest standard of service to their customers, from the manager, to the kitchen staff, right down to the service staff. I highly recommend Enzo's Northmead to anyone who wants to not only eat delicious food but know that they will be provided with the highest standard of service from people who genuinely want their customers to enjoy their...
