Stopped by for a light dinner and drinks. We were able to make a booking when leaving work. Staff was very friendly and professional. The wine menu changes monthly, and we were interested in the wine flight so we got to try a few different wines. The food menu had few choices, and we got the anchovy pitas to start, and bread to go with the pate and rillette. The dishes were quite big for the price, and tasty as well, so very good value. The rillette was definitely a highlight, and the pate was also very flavourful. There weren't, however, many veg/fresh options, even though all cheese and meat dishes come with a little bit of pickled veg. Will look to revisit when the wine menu changes, and perhaps if the food menu changes...

We went to a ā€˜meet the winemaker’ tasting on Thursday 8 February. It was a neat format: Amelia and the winemaker Tillie J floated around all the tables chatting with us individually, depending on what wines we were up to. It was a relaxed and informal way to ask various questions I always feel a bit dumb asking, and so interesting to learn about Tillie’s background and the journey of each wine. The wine servings felt very generous so overall I thought it was pretty great value. We ordered a couple of shnacks too - unbelievably tasty - and it’s just a very cool but relaxed vibe all round. I’d also add that we have a couple of allergies and I thought the way Amelia and her team handled this was really...

Really disappointed by our experience at Famelia on 12 July 2025.My friend and I were excited to support a venue that proudly champions women, unfortunately, the reality was quite the opposite. When we arrived, we were completely ignored by staff. We stood at the entrance waiting to be acknowledged, but were just stared at. No greeting, no direction ,nothing.

We eventually seated ourselves, but even then, no one came over. After a long wait, we had to flag someone down, only to be met with a dismissive and rude ā€œWhat do you want?ā€ as if we were bothering them.

For a venue that claims to be ā€œby women, for women,ā€ the service felt performative and tokenistic. Would not recommend. Disappointing and...
