EXPENSIVE PRICES / NO FLAVOUR...Was really looking forward to some pasta after working 11.5hrs. Unfortunately When I received the food, I was extremely disappointed. The so called Garlic "bread" was about 2mm thick and like eating a rice cracker with excessive oil, along with huge raw chunks of garlic, with big inflated bland crust on the outside (see picture). The pasta was majorly lacking ingredients & taste, with just the odd mushroom and a blob of cheese in the middle which made a ball in the middle due to the pasta sticking together and container only just over half full (see picture). Total lack of sauce, frankly the bare minimum. Plus there was alot of parsley sprinkled all over it, covering the fact there was not much else! The quality of the pasta itself, was the only positive, possibly hand made? Please also be aware there is no place inside or outside to sit down and eat (which is not an issue for me if the food was good). I dont mind paying high prices for delicious food, but not in this case. Waste of hard earned cash, Sorry will not be back.

The pizzas and pasta are absolutely amazing 🤌 My personal favourites are margherita and prosciutto e funghi for the pizzas, and bolognaise for the pasta. The lovely cashier recommended we try boscaiola pasta and palermo pizza next time (both vegetarian friendly), so we’re looking forward to them on our next visit to Fami. The people are very friendly and kind with warm and hospitable service. Little story: We ordered a pizza, but they gave us the wrong one. So, we went back to the store. The owner apologised, gave us the pizza we originally ordered, and let us keep the wrong one as a token of apology. To our surprise, the “wrong” pizza turned out to be our favourite - margherita!

2 stars but the food was 1 star. The great reviews on this are absolutely baffling to me. I would never go back. We had: Caserecce all norma - it had barely any basil. The sauce was like Barilla jar sauce. Then the ricotta wasn't even in the pasta, it was just a hard ricotta shaven on top. Not much eggplant in it considering that the main ingredient of the dish. Lucifero pizza- a supposed spicy salami pizza. Not much salami, see photo. Not much cheese. Base is very average. All I can say is it's better than dominoes....... Tiramisu - nicely presented but had no alcohol and the coffee used wasn't a good espresso. All very disappointing when the reviews suggested it would be great

My husband and I had been pressing our noses up against the window of this place for a couple of weeks and telling ourselves we must try the Salsiccia and Tiramisu but we always seemed to be passing early before they opened. Jack, one of the owners, spotted us one morning and after a lovely chat we went away with both - very happy! The Salsiccia are absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned pure pork sausage. We have a very fussy 4 year old who can usually identify a speck of pepper on his plate a mile off and will automatically reject everything within a 30cm radius. He was completely taken in with the flavour, despite there being a fair amount of seasoning, the first meal in ages where we didn't have to encourage him to keep eating. ( much to my husbands disappointment - less for him). Tiramisu was very tasty and smooth. I really dislike overly creamy food, but love the flavour of Tiramisu. This was so well balanced and fresh. Can't wait to try the Gnocchi and Meatballs. They also sell a really high quality pasta which we decided was too good for the kids and kept...

This is probably the only Italian food takeaway with better than restaurant quality. Impressive! Highly recommended. These guys are just next level. Forget about any of the other Italian food around, this is the real deal! Excellent pasta selections, sides, desserts and all. Also the pizza is probably one of the best in the whole of Sydney. Left us speechless and astonished. Something rarely happens! And we found out they also do Uber eats delivery and private caterings. Apparently in the kitchen are chefs who actually are real chefs with fine dining experience who wanted to bring simple and accessible food back to the scene like they do in Italy. What a great idea! There should be more places like this and less of the mediocrity you find around these days. Keep up the hard work guys: you deserve all the success and requests you...
