I have visited this kebab shop several times when it first opened and always received excellent service. The food was previously 10/10, including freshly made bread and well-prepared meat. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was extremely disappointing. The first couple of bites tasted decent, although that changed quickly. The chicken had a boiled texture with no crispy edges at all, which is expected from proper kebab meat. I also noticed the staff grilling pre-cut meat on the grill rather than shaving it fresh from the roll, which likely contributed to the unpleasant texture. The bread was taken out of a warmer instead of being freshly made, which diminished the overall quality. Additionally, there was hardly any meat inside my kebab pita, leaving the portion feeling poor value for money. I was too shy to return the food, although I left feeling upset about the decline in quality. The only enjoyable parts of my meal were the hot chips and the can of Coke Zero, which any venue could provide to a good standard. I hope the business can return to the quality it had when it first opened, because it used to be one of my favourites.

We drove over an hour in heavy rain to make it here before they close at 9pm on a Saturday night with the hopes of trying their freshly baked kebab pocket we’ve seen on Tik Tok! Let me tell you even though we ordered our food at 8:30pm they delivered on taste, quality and service! What makes these Turkish Kebabs a league above the rest has to be the combination of freshly baked made to order Turkish bread and the high quality beef kebab meat that they use. Alongside fresh salads and sauces we devoured our kebabs in the car with haste! You can tell the owners have been living and breathing kebabs a long time! 2 beef kebab pockets with drinks cost $40 and we were happy to pay the price however a small observation would be please add more beef! In saying that, we did arrive late before closing so they might have run out of beef and gave us the best they could at the time! The lady working there was so lovely and approachable and the guy who made our kebabs and fresh bread is top of the class what a machine! He makes those kebabs with love - thank you so much! Parking is available and it’s easy to get to! Go and try it asap!

After watching a glowing review from a well-known kebab expert, I had high hopes for this shop. With a one-hour drive ahead of me, my anticipation only grew - I was genuinely excited to try what I expected to be something special. The Experience • Order: One standard kebab, one in pita bread • Cost: $42 • Expectation: A memorable, mouthwatering meal Unfortunately, reality didn’t match the hype. Here’s what I encountered: What Went Wrong • Bread: Not toasted, limp, and unappealing • Fillings: Cold, with chicken that was dry and had a texture reminiscent of cardboard • Chips: Topped with a strange citric acid concoction that was barely edible - why anyone would choose this over classic chicken salt is beyond me Perhaps the original reviewer’s joke about eating the packaging was more accurate than I realised. Final Thoughts Was it worth it? Absolutely not. The kebab was well below par, and the overall experience left me questioning the credibility of the original review. It makes you wonder if there was more to their positive rating than just the food. Verdict: Disappointing and not recommended.

When my parter and I first walked in, we were greeted at the door with smiles and genuine excitement by the owner and the rest of the staff. The first thing I look for in a new food joint is to see how clean it is, I kid you not, it was sparkling. They were busy as well which is an awesome sign and yet they so carefully made everything to perfection. We enquired to the owner about what he recommend and he was so happy to help and instead of offering the most expensive thing straight up, he genuinely took time to find out how heavy of a meal we wanted as well as what we usually enjoy to eat. We ordered a spinach and cheese gozleme, a beef gozleme and a chicken and cheese pide, which he happily altered for me. It was all incredible and not just slapped together with no Fs given like any other place does. It was made to order, fresh and made with love. We LOVED chatting to the owner and seeing how much he connected with other customers that walked in, you can really tell his passion is about making people happy and providing the best service and food humanly possible. We even pre ordered dinner for the next night while we were waiting for our dinner to be made (I’m eating it as I’m writing this) which was a cheese burger pizza, and I say WAS because we smashed it, he even chucked in a free garlic bread!! It’s so different to any other cheese burger pizza I’ve tried in the past and I am just obsessed. Overall an amazing place that’s now mine and my families favourite eating spot in Penrith. Seriously,...
