What a lovely venue to share lunches with my daughter. Love that the waiters are French. Such an authentic touch. Service is excellent. Staff, very polite and accommodating. The crepes are delicious whether you're selection is savoury, sweet or in our case; both. Best to book if you don't want to be disappointed, especially on the weekends because who doesn't want crepes for breakfast, lunch or dinner? Inside and outside seating available. Takeaways available by pick-up as far as I'm aware. I didn't take photos of our savoury crepes as we were both too busy eating them. Here are: Crepe with Coconut Icecream and Belgian Chocolate Sauce, and Banoffe Crepe (Specials board) My savoury Crepe of Proscuitto, Goat's Cheese, walnuts and honey was delicious. My daughter requested maple syrup with her ham and cheese Crepe much to the Waiter's surprise. It's delicious. Something we often ate at home. If you haven't been to the Four Frogs Creperie, spoil yourself on the weekend for a little taste of France in Lane Cove.

Brunchin’ here on a Sunday morning with friends. Pleasantly surprised to find a lively atmosphere for a sleepy neighbourhood, so get in early to get a table quickly. Benoit, the restaurant manager is very charming & helpful, expect him to welcome you with warm French hospitality! Food wise, we were really satisfied with the taste & quality, not forgetting to mention that this place is a heaven for gluten free customers, because all their base batter is made with buckwheat instead of flour. Especially love their savoury galettes: lightly crisp outside and soft inside. Better news still, these are made with buckwheat flour so absolutely gluten free! . - Crêpe Suzette AU$23 (double) - Smoked salmon galette salad AU$18 - La tartiflette with raclette cheese AU$21 (add egg +$3) - Chorizo, mushroom & Swiss cheese galette AU$15 (add avocado +$3) - White chocolate ice cream, salted caramel sauce & almonds AU$18.5 (double) - Nutella & strawberry AU$17.5 (double)

We ordered the Dubai Chocolate Crepe which was on the specials board for $24. The waiter had told us that today was the last day for the special. When we went to pay - they charged us 30.26. They said that the system said it was $28 and that there was a weekend surcharge of 10%. This is a >$6 price difference from what was advertised. Had I known that the crepe was $28, I probably would not have walked in. The owner just blamed it on her workers who apparently wrote the wrong thing on the board. All the dessert specials were priced between 23-25, so seeing 24 on the board was not out of the ordinary. Also, on their online menu - there is no dessert menu item that exceeds $25. Not sure how many people have now been charged this apparent $28 while this crepe was on special. I have also attached a photo of their staff member changing the price after we left. Please don’t be misled by this place.

Thank you to the Four Frogs team at Lane Cove for making my birthday weekend dinner with them such a delight. We had the Nutella and strawberry crepe and smoked salmon gallete, both were fantastic and delicious.

Unfortunately, this was marred by an unbearable woman who wouldn't stop talking and had an issue with every little thing.

First, she complained to the wait staff telling them they're a "regular" and that they need to help them to their chair, and that they would know to do this if they weren't new. To the same wait staff, she said she needed to pick things up quietly and softly because she is sensitive to sound, but didn't bat an eye when a Nissan Silvia revved down the road less than 15m away.

Then she had an issue with our dog whilst in outdoor seating saying that they were allergic and that she can't have a dog so close.. our dog had moved from the road side of the table to under table about half a metre closer. This was after we moved our dog away from the road so that our dog won't interact with any dogs walking past and make an issue for that woman.

She sCrEaMed across the hallway to tell us that WE needed to move to a different table because she was allergic, when she had rolled past our table less than 10 minutes prior.

She was a completely entitled woman with an utterly astringent personality. I felt for her at first because she had physical or medical issues due to her foldaway wheelchair, but then her constant complaining showed us that this was misplaced. We could hear her from 5 tables away and it was almost enough for us to walk away.

I wish we had noise cancelling headphones that worked for her voice while we ate because of her constant complaining to her carer, waitstaff, to people she was calling ON LOUD SPEAKER (even thought she said multiple times that she's sensitive to loud noises) was the only negative thing about tonight.

Thank you again to the Four Frogs team at Lane Cove for serving us so kindly and positively through this and I hope you don't need to deal with this woman for much longer. You don't deserve her kind of negativity in...

Had lunch here last Sunday and both the food and coffee were really nice. However the experience left a bitter taste in our mouths as we were served by the duo of unfriendly brunette and rude blonde. I was a bit confused about their rude attitudes as both my partner and I were being polite and thanked them multiple times when they served us. So I thought maybe they were both having a bad day (gotta give em the benefit of doubt ya know), but then I noticed that they were being nice to the other tables except for us. Then it dawned on me that we were one of the two Asian tables there. Oh no, I thought, it can’t be because we’re Asians right? (I’ve honestly never been subjected to racism throughout my 8 years in Australia). But the way these two waitresses (especially the blonde girl) treated us and other tables were just so obviously different, I couldn’t help but try analysing the reason for that. The cherry on top (what really drove me to leave this review) is the ‘grand’ credit card slamming by the blonde waitress when we paid our bill. She took my card and tapped, then threw it on to the tray without a care in the world, not to mention the obligatory “thank you” with bare minimum sincerity. Then we left. Would we go back again? Of course, the food was wonderful! But I can only hope we don’t cross paths with the same two...

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Service, food and atmosphere were absolutely terrible.

Ordered 2 savoury crepes and 2 sweet. The food took a while to come out. We were almost finished our coffees by the time the savoury crepes were served. They were dry, over cooked and cold. We had finished our savoury crepes and the 2 sweet crepes had still not come out. We asked the wait staff what the delay was as it does not take long to cook a crepe and put maple syrup on it. We were told that the ticket fell down and they missed the order so will cook it now. The crepes finally came and were again were average.

On top of the terrible food and service there were flies everywhere. All over the food and drinks, it was almost impossible to eat and turned you completely off.

The staff also squashed tables next to us so much that I couldn’t even leave my seat.

We asked for a discount on the food since we were waiting so long and we were offered 50% off 1 item. The bill was still extremely high at $75 for 4 coffees and 4 crepes.

Extremely disappointed with this location as the Mosman one is...
