One of the best kept secrets in Mosman! We've been regulars at Kojiro ever since the early Yachiyo (formerly) days and absolutely love this restaurant. All the dishes are so amazing that it's difficult to select which ones we want to have that day. Sometimes we just select 5-6 starters so we can have more items. Must try are the lettuce cups, whiting tempura, various sashimi (kingfish is my favourite) in ponzu or yuzu sauce, the dynamite roll, and steak. In short everything i've tried here has been delicious and Kosuke (chef and owner) and Mina are two of the loveliest people...

This place was very welcoming I didn't have a booking and they kindly found a spot for me. The churner service was very lovely and made me feel good. I ordered Edamame that came out in good time and tasted good with just the right amount of salt and even gave me a small little bowl for the husk that is important. For the main food I ordered chicken katsu with a bowl of rice the chicken was very moist and cramped well so that tasted amazing. The rice was nice and fluffy and not dry. So...

Hands down my favorite restaurant in Sydney. Always authentic with a creative twist. Chef Kosuke and his crew redefines the meaning of meticulous and will ensure that each dining experience is memorable. We have been won over by Kosuke-san since his days at Ainoya (Kirribili) and judging by recent review photos- he continues to produce culinary excellence. The fact that I am writing this 2 years after our last meal there, and now based in Japan is testament to how good this...

Party of two for lunch. Great freshness of food and service! Ordered two lunch sushi sets. Fish was fresh, sushi rice well balanced and side dishes were generous. It was very good value for a simple Street side lunch. Very pleased with the customer service. They were prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. Seemed to really know and care. Only thing was that the chairs were a little uncomfortable, but that may be I've gained a few holiday kilos.

The food is well prepared although portions are quite small relative to the fairly high price point Kojiro asks for. I quite liked the Snapper special and the Miso Salmon, although the grilled spicy Hokkaido scallops were just Ok. I think what Kojiro is trying to create is Australo-Japanese food or “Modern Japanese” for the lack of a better descriptor. But they either would need to enlarge the portion size or drop their prices slightly.

Staff were very friendly and really tried to accommodate, as we had arrived without a booking. Food was quite nice, fresh and relatively well priced. Kojiro has outdoor seating as well as indoor, but can get a bit tight as it's a little narrow inside the restaurant. I was there on a Saturday evening, while it was busy, it was overwhelming and the food did come out relatively quickly. Overall, it was a pleasant place to have dinner.
