Basil Nut Asian Kitchen — Restaurant in Sydney

We went to have dinner pretty late on a Friday night, around 9pm and they were happy to accommodate us. The employees were really friendly and happy and we had no issues with the food. The food that we ordered was delicious. We don't live anywhere close to this restaurant, so the menu is very different to what you get at other Thai restaurants in the area we live in so that was pretty nice. The food was reasonably priced for the area also. They prefer you pay in cash but they take card also and they don't have a surcharge which is nice also. I'd recommend this place if you're...

I ordered via Menulog and upon receiving the confirmation email it said the order would take 90 mins. I called the restaurant straight away to cancel and they said only menulog could cancel. I then spoke to menulog who said they would contact the restaurant, the restaurant said they would not cancel the order. I called the restaurant back and had a very rude response. I am out of pocket $61 and the order was not fulfilled and both the restaurant and menulog unwilling to help.

The food here in the past was really good. Tonight we sat waiting for 45 minutes while bag after bag of menulog orders went out while we sat staring at them waiting. When the food did come out the chicken dish that my daughter ordered tasted like ketchup and vinegar mixed together, we left it. At the end I told them how much we usually liked it and that we are disappointed, the staff and owner / manager seemed completely disinterested and just pointed at the credit card machine.
