Unfortunately this was not the greatest of dining experiences from the moment we walked in. The service was initially slow and not unfriendly but not friendly either. I was told that they couldn’t make a hard boiled egg (for my toddler daughter) but then they made it anyway with a long-winded explanation as to why it is normally not a possibility. The food was edible, but just not nice. Overcooked toast and halloumi, rubbery mushrooms, overcooked eggs, and the hash brown / potato element was a weird texture. Nothing special, no unique flavours. I’m not a fan of eating at a cafe that doesn’t seem to care about retaining customers and serves food that I could easily make it home, but better. Sat down at a table outside Garnish Cafe. Menus and water were brought out to us and we asked for a high chair, the lady serving was very friendly and happy to accommodate us.

We ordered Long black (choices of strength offered) Babychinos with marshmellow Dill fritters with scrambled eggs & bacon Avo and poached eggs on sour dough Scrambled eggs, beans and toast (kids)

The cafe has seating outside along the street, indoors and a courtyard out the back.
