Giovanni La Pizza — Restaurant in Sydney

Sorry Giovanni but if I was putting my name to anything I would be making sure it’s was perfection everytime. We ordered at night on Deliveroo (8pm) and the food was not fresh in the slightest. The Risotto was mushy and the vegetables in it were extremely overcooked. The whole dish was a pile of mush and loaded with white onion. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was cooked earlier in the day or even the day before and reheated. I just can’t see how freshly cooked Risotto could be like that. The fettuccine was the same, so mushy and not al dente like you would expect it to be cooked. The flavour was very bland, I had to add items from our fridge for my husband to even attempt to eat it. We asked for no cheese on the Brushetta Pizza (husband cant have cheese) and it having cheese on it wasn’t the only let down. It was the weirdest Brushetta Pizza I have ever seen or tasted. Again loaded with white onion, few thinly sliced tomato pieces and olives. Definitely not the definition of Brushetta. Very disappointed overall. Won’t be back. Wish I had read the reviews first and looked at the star Rating as anything under 4 stars isn’t worth spending...

Extremely poor and disgusting customer service. I had a family size pizza today, the chicken on it was off, and the dough was very old; i can say this because i once used to work in a pizza house. Never ever ever in my life i have seen such disgusting reaction towards customer inquires. The pizza had no taste, i just wanted to add a little bit of more sauce on the top of it just to make it taste a little better, when i went to the counter, they pointed towards ketchup when i said the other one kinda peri peri type, he replied ‘ no we dont have that mate’ and literally started talking to his colleague. This place should not even be allowed to display the Italian name because to us (Italians) that’s false advertising…not just because they are far away from being Italian but for their expensive bad looking pizza but their total lack of politeness when they told us off when (after purchasing 6 gelatos + drinks) we set and asked if they could give us a coffee spoon to allow our kids to eat it…because gelatos are only take away. As an Italian I felt I had to dismantle the Giovanni name from their sign! My wife and friends told me to let go and to just pay them back for their kind manners leave my bad review. I WILL NEVER...
