Am interesting mix of exhibits reflecting the history of the La Perouse area in what once a Cable Station building built late 1800s. Entry is free and is open Fri/Sat/Sunday from 10am Aboriginal history is covered, where nearly all were killed off very quickly by the introduction of smallpox. Another room is dedicated to the generations of "Snakemen", snake wranglers who every weekend for near 100 years entertained visitors with snakes they locally collected plus also raised. It was also interesting to know the monument served during the last pandemic (Influenza) a century ago! The museum is beside the scenic backdrop of beautiful Frenchmans Beach, and other beaches and Bare island Fort... A good spot for all those little explorers to unleash their...
