Love this place. Located at a quiet back street off the hustle and bustle of the main streets, the buzzing Girdlers cafe serve up pretty wholesome and hearty food. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and I really like their own house blend organic All good blend coffee that is fullbodied and nutty with buttery mouth feel with hints of cocoa. They have a big menu that looks nourishing and cater to everyone needs in term of dietary requirements and choices. Highly recommend their Goodness bowl its was so so good and their buckwheat crepes is awesome too. Even thei Pancake that we tried that is gluten free, dairy free taste pretty good too. Would recommend people to check them upt when they are in the manly area for a relaxing day.
I highly recommend their 'Goodness Bowl' it was filled with quinao, halloumi, organic purple kraut and much more! That secret recipe dressing was just incredible it really makes this dish so unique and is now my favourite version of this dish to date!
The Shakshouka is perfect for this cold weather, made from cauliflower rice cooked in tomato and red bellpepper sauce! Very lovely clean version of shakshouka's i'm used to.
And you can't go wrong with their crepes, i tried the 'Love me Berry' and that coconut ice-cream really lifted the entire dish it was...

The two of us came here at about 2:30. (We didn’t check what time this place shut as we just wandered around and liked the look of this cafe.) The drinks were nice.
HOWEVER... the staff were beyond rude. No friendly smiles. From working in hospitality, I was absolutely shocked when they started to lift chairs and tables around where we were eating and packing up the whole cafe. We felt like we shouldn’t have been there and in the end we didn’t even finish our meals just at how rushed we felt and unwelcome. There were a few other people in the cafe who also left but we were the last ones, I guess due to how late we ordered.
I understand now that we came nearer to their closing time and I know what it’s like wanting to go home after a long shift. I’d have much more preferred the staff to be honest and say we’re closing soon. The worst hospitality experience I’ve faced in...
Read moreDined in today and ordered the mermaid latte, goodness bowl and holy avo with my mother. Great service only wished that they had lactose free milk, even thought they had every other alternative (oat, soy, almond, full cream). My specialist (gastroenterologist) has said that if milk doesn’t come out of a cow or goat; it is no good for your health/ not nutritious. They should word their menu differently so that it clearly states what you are getting in your meal. They say “with chicken” on the goodness bowl but $5 extra next to it in small font which I found deceptive because my mother thought that was included without any extra cost. Otherwise, they cater for coeliac needs very well and dining was comfortable. The waiter we had seemed a bit fed up with serving us as we moved out from the really hot sun into the shade. Overall...
