Go to be one of the most up itself Gloria Jean's in all of nsw, asked for a mocha mudslide with chocolate and caramel on-top. Lazy girl behind the counter didn't make that, she made the most disgusting movie themed coffees and squirted salted caramel on the coffee because she was too lazy to open the cupboard because she packed up too early. Melted after 4 minutes, wrong colour...tasted like burnt soggy popcorn...TF is wrong with the lazy worker?
If you want decent Gloria Jean's go to Campbelltown mall. If I could give this place negative stars I would.
So sounds like the owner is trying to be a clever cookie at 12.40am, about the ice melting after 4 minutes. For comparison I got the most perfect mocha mudslide from Campbelltown mall and it was not watery because they didn't use the latte they made for another customer so they didn't have to make new coffee and stayed frozen for over 10 minutes because the particles had time to super freeze the liquid added (namely cold milk and cold coffee mix). The latte she made earlier was hot, adding ice makes for a glorified (if foul tasting) Dare iced coffee from a Woolies fridge. I also make these from home and even on a 40 degree day they take 15 minutes to get that watery...ya know enough time to drink it.
Don't bother passing it on. It was a random stop by sheer happenstance and I won't make that mistake again. You're welcome. I know how ice works, thanks.
P.s I could have gotten past it if the coffee itself didn't taste like off soggy popcorn and salt from the...
Read moreJust before 1pm, we went in. There was no greeting from the staff or even a smile. Once we had ordered a cappuccino, a flat white, and toasted banana bread with butter, we were seated at the table. The coffee was done in a takeaway cup rather than a mug, and the toasted bread was packaged in a paper bag without a knife for buttering. I believe that when ordering food, staff should always inquire as to whether we wish to take it away or eat it in the cafe. As far as customer service is concerned, she lacked any skills. The question I asked my partner was how she could expect us to put butter on the banana bread. Went back to the counter, waited for her to finish serving another customer and asked her for the knife than returned to the table. In my opinion, the coffee was terrible, and the banana bread was very overtoasted, which gave it a very brown and crusty appearance almost like burnt. While my partner threw half of his coffee in the bin, I walked out and disposed of mine at home. It would be appreciated if you could impart some customer service knowledge to your staff that was on duty today. Please note : the cafe wasn’t busy at all . There were 3 customers sitting on one table with 2 mugs coffee and takeaway from outside . While there was one before me waiting...

MY WIFE Ordered through Uber Eats and accidentally ordered from Mt Annan store instead of Narellan. Horrible experience.
Firstly the order was wrong. We ordered 2 ice crushers and 1 was given to us as a hot coffee beverage.
The one ice crusher we received had absolutely no ice in it. I don't think it ever did. It was basically flavoured milk that was as thin as making Nesquik at home.
The saving grace was the caramel slice which we all know isn't made fresh, so no bonus points there.
To make it worse our orders always come in a bag that's taped up, even if we get drinks and from Mt Annan they came in a simple tray and no bag. Praying the Uber driver didn't take a sip of the drinks before giving them over.
I'll make sure to never make this mistake...
