Gloria Jean's Seven Hills — Restaurant in Sydney

I have been frequenting this place from January 2022. The coffee was always made to my request. They are friendly and not rushing. I have never seen anyone not smiling while serving. I usually do a take away. What a great way to start a day. On the 1st August 2022, I visited Gloria Jeans and decided to sit down for some coffee and a snack. I chose the Mango Coconut bread to go with my coffee and it was toasted to perfection. I was served by 2 different individual (photos attached). A young lady who made my coffee and a young man who received my orders. I would gratefully say that the service, kindness and attention was no less than any other day. Unfortunately I had a disappointing experience at this coffee shop. I requested my coffee to be made extra hot, but it was only warm when I received it. The cashier asked me to take a seat and said she would bring the coffee to my table, but she never did. Instead, my cup was left at the pickup counter without any call or notice. After waiting for about six to seven minutes, I went to check myself and found my order sitting there. When I asked, the staff member said she is busy with a large order, but there were only one or two other customers at the time, all of whom had already been served. The customer service here is awful. Literally just walked out baffled at how rude the owner (I'm assuming) was. My partner and I ordered two drinks on soy, one was made incorrectly with full cream. I politely asked if was made with soy and the owner said it wasnt. I responded with that they both were meant to be (I'm sensitive to lactose). She proceeded to say nothing and violently threw the drink in the bin in front of me - like it was my fault. My partner and I stood there is shock. How can you run a business and be like this? We weren't even being rude! We just moved to the area and were looking for a regular coffee spot - but this isn't it, doubt we will ever come back. Feel bad...
