My family and I have been going to this restaurant for years. As per the other reviews the food is absolutely amazing. Every time we go there, we spend at least $150 if not more and we used to go once per month. The last time we went however, there was some dishes left over (because as normal we over ordered). We asked for one or two containers to take the remaining dishes home. The chefs wife at the front counter asked us to pay 50c per container (so $1) after we spent more than $150 (including a tip). Unfortunately whilst they deserve 5 stars for their food, we will not be going there again due to principle. If we had called and ordered the food to pick up or delivery, all the containers for the foods would have been free and so would delivery. Really unfortunate actions by one of the owners means losing a long time loyal customer. We told her at the end that it was pretty money hungry and that we will not be coming back, she tried giving the $1 back and said sorry, but i feel the damage was...

I used to have lunch here about 8 years ago every day as I used to work nearby. It’s been 6 years since I’ve been there and went back today as I had a work meeting nearby. As I opened the door I was greeted with “welcome back, it’s been a long time. The usual?” Which for me is chicken and vegetable long soup with a jug of tap water and no ice (and don’t forget the chopsticks). We talked about her sons and what she’s been up to, walked through the kitchen to the always smiling chef. Flavours still amazing, was like coming home again and made to feel so welcomed back.
