The pricing is so good for my family. I got 2 meals, a combination Mongolian & chicken chow mein. With a Large special fried rice and ham and chicken roll. The total was $56 delivered which is very good, in today’s economy I was expecting the meals to be $20-$28 per meal. So that was pleasant. The Mongolian combination was 10/10 beautiful flavour, I actually am not the biggest fan of the flavour Mongolian but this one really surprised me it was so flavourful and I loved that they put sautéed onions through it. The portioning was great fed me and my mum and have still enough left for another meal. the special fried rice was amazing filled with beautiful bbq pork, veggies and everything. Lovely fresh well cooked fried rice. the chow mein was beautifully cooked fresh and lovely! If I were to be critical I would say the chow mein wasn’t as much flavourful as the Mongolian however they’re different flavoured dishes so it’s to be expected maybe I should of asked to add garlic into the chow mein but it was very well cooked and still was beautiful. Spring rolls were beautiful never had spring rolls like these ones ( we got these for free for spending over $55). Overall the only negative out of the whole delivery was unfortunately the ham & chicken roll, It was cooked well.. however sadly the flavour tasted a little weird like maybe they were past the expiry date or something like it just had a musty kind of off flavour afterward and that was unfortunate because everything else was absolutely amazing! None the less I highly Rate this restaurant based on the lovely service I got over the phone, the food and for delivery as well couldn’t beat it the delivery arrived within like 40 minutes and was out of the area. Overall I’d rate my food a 8/10 it would of been a 10/10 had the ham and chicken roll been better. When I lived in Chester hill I would order a oyster garlic chicken regularly it was my favourite dish from them.. it’s nice to see tai pak is still just as good as it was in 2014.. I will definitely be ordering again! And recommend new customers to try...

The food? Let’s just say it was so good we briefly considered enrolling in culinary school just to figure out how they did it. Every dish was a nostalgic hug to the taste buds. And then came the fried ice cream—crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and 100% responsible for our collective sugar-induced flashbacks to Year 10 socials.
Special mention to Terry’s cup, which none of us understood but all of us applauded. It was mysterious, majestic, and possibly magical. We’re still not sure if it was a drink, a dessert, or a portal to another dimension—but it was a treat.
The staff were absolute gems—friendly, patient, and clearly trained in crowd control for rowdy reunions. They smiled through our bad jokes, tolerated our photo ops, and even laughed at our “remember when” stories like they’d lived them too.
We came for the food, stayed for the memories, and left with full bellies and sore cheeks from laughing. Tai Pak didn’t just serve dinner—they served up joy, nostalgia, and a reminder that good friends and good food are the...

Genuinely cannot understand the praises given to this restaurant by other reviewers. The service was nothing special, and the food ranged from fair/passable to sickening where any of the overly oily fried dishes were concerned. Credit where credit's due, the prices are good value but is it really a deal when you're paying less for bad food?
Note: This didn't affect my rating, but it's worth pointing out that this restaurant serves Western Chinese cuisine. If you were looking for more authentic Chinese cuisine, have another reason to avoid this...
